“My husband and I cannot say enough about the Park Savoy - the venue and the staff are absolutely incredible. Not only are the grounds stunning, not to mention you have the entire venue to yourself for the duration of your event, but the staff constantly tends to the bride and groom’s every need AS WELL as ensuring all guests are taken care of. The food is amazing and there is so much of it between cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. It is no exaggeration to say that there is something for everyone - No one will be leaving with empty bellies! There are also so many options for those who have dietary restrictions. We got nothing but rave reviews. The staff ensures that everything goes to plan, you absolutely do not need a wedding coordinator if you get married here. As the bride at the Park Savoy, I can say I actually felt like royalty or the first lady on wedding day, but they also take care of you during the entire planning process to keep you organized. Not only do the staff provide top notch service, but they’re all so kind, you walk out of there feeling like friends. The Park Savoy runs a very well-oiled machine, and we cannot recommend this venue enough. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to get married at this beautiful estate.”

As soon as we arrived to view the venue, we fell in love and knew this is where we wanted to get married. Kai was incredible with suggestions and communication. “Our wedding at Terrain Gardens at DelVal was absolutely perfect! It was a dream!!! I’m breaking it down below because Terrain exceeded my expectations in every category possible. I cannot recommend them and this venue more highly. Food: This was probably the most important thing to me and my then fiancé when picking a venue. I wanted my guests to say, “wow, this is the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding!” …Well, goal accomplished! I heard that multiple times and people are still raving about the food weeks later!! The cocktail hour was extravagant and extensive!! And the dinner did not disappoint! Dessert was amazing as well. I don’t know what else to say but it was sooo much food and sooooo delicious! Venue space: It’s spacious and absolutely beautiful. I had about 165 guests (176 is the max) and it worked perfectly! The long farm tables layout for dinner is stunning. The dance floor area is huge. The outdoor space is perfect and a lot of my guests hung out out there throughout the evening. They set up a bar and s’mores by the fire pits outside so it made the space very usable and welcoming. We had our ceremony inside because it was in July and I didn’t want guests to be hot and that worked out well, the front half of the room had chairs while the back half had cocktail tables set up where people could stand and enjoy their drinks during the ceremony - which worked great with the margarita greeting we selected! Wedding Coordinator: At Terrain included with your wedding you are assigned a coordinator after booking your date. I can’t tell you what an incredible value I felt like this was! Our coordinator, Matt, was absolutely amazing and there’s no way our wedding would have been the dream it was without him! Matt and the Terrain team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied with everything involving our big day. We met with Matt every month or so leading up to the wedding and had clear things to work on, discuss, and decide for each meeting - this high level of organization made planning so much easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable! The day of we also had Morgan join Matt in coordinating, everything seemed to flow so smoothly and effortlessly and I know that’s only due to how hard they were working behind the scenes!! As the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing, they made everything go off without a hitch and took such good care of me! Terrain Design (Florist): I used Terrain Design for my florals and worked with Stephanie - I can’t express how impressed and overwhelmed I was with her and her team’s work. I am very particular and threw a lot of pretty unique ideas out there. I cried the second I first walked into the venue!! I was so blown away by the table settings. The bud vase and candle table scapes created the most beautiful, whimsical scene. Stephanie and her team worked some magic to deliver everything I’ve ever wanted but could have never envisioned myself. It still amazes me how well she understood my vision and made it come to life beautifully! Thank you so much Terrain for making all my wedding dreams come true, making my big day so incredibly special, and for being so kind and accommodating throughout it all!”

“My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!”

“Such an incredible experience! We're still getting compliments months after the wedding. Everyone had a blast with the animals; from the giraffe feeding, to the skunk ambassador, to the jaguar at the cocktail hour. But the non-animal aspects were just as fantastic! Staff was beyond supportive, they truly went above and beyond to make sure things went well and that we were relaxed and happy. The food and drinks were incredible (I hear - I didn't get the chance to enjoy much myself!), staff was all out of this world, the ceremony location was perfect, the reception hall is beautiful all lit up, and all of our photos look gorgeous with the zoo as a backdrop. From the booking the date to cementing the details, to the tasting night, to the vendor list and partnered cake bakery, they made planning our wedding (the parts that they were responsible for, at least!) seamless. “From the first time we reached out to the team at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, they were very responsive, getting back to us within 48 hours. As our wedding date approached, their communication became even more great as they helped us navigate the DIY elements of the venue. While we had to handle a lot of the setup ourselves, their day-of coordinator was a huge help, even providing a golf cart to shuttle us around the sprawling property. Everything is outsourced at Bowman's, but the coordinator did a pretty good job ensuring our special day ran smoothly. The bathrooms did flood and we are still looking for some of our things as our things were piled up all over. Overall, we were very pleased with the value and unique setting Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve provided for our wedding.”

“We got married at the Philander Chase Knox Estate on September 4, 2026, after a two-year engagement, and our wedding was truly worth the wait. We don’t have anything but amazing things to say about our experience from start to finish. We worked primarily with John Alexander throughout our planning process, and he was incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and never once made us feel like we were a bother. He truly made our planning experience feel seamless. John was also extremely informative and upfront about all costs and packages, which we really appreciated. We toured quite a few local venues before making our decision, but the moment we walked through PCK, we knew it was the venue for us. Growing up next to Valley Forge Park, I instantly felt a connection to the house and grounds. You can feel the rich history the moment you walk in, and the property provides such a unique and beautiful backdrop for a wedding. A big factor in choosing our venue was my sister, who has multiple severe food allergies. It was extremely important to me that the venue could guarantee a safe food preparation area and that my sister would feel comfortable and confident eating the food at our wedding. This was one of the very first questions I asked every catering company we spoke to during our venue search. Honestly, most venues gave us a “grey area” answer about whether they could safely accommodate her. One catering company even suggested that she “bring her own meal,” which was incredibly discouraging to hear. That all changed when we asked John the same question. I was expecting another uncertain answer, but John assured us with absolute certainty that it was not a grey area. He explained that they could prepare her meals separately and safely, and they absolutely delivered on that promise. They even made my sister her own plate of appetizer mini cheesesteaks that were completely free of soy protein. They were extremely careful and cautious with all of our guests who had food allergies and dietary restrictions. If you are on the venue hunt and have food allergies or special dietary accommodations to consider, I cannot recommend PCK and Robert Ryan enough. They truly took our concerns seriously and gave us complete peace of mind on such an important day. Brianna was our “day-of coordinator,” and we met her for the first time at our two-week check-in meeting before the wedding. From the moment I met her, I knew we were in good hands. She is incredibly helpful, efficient, and professional. She accommodated all of our requests, kept everything running smoothly, and always made sure my husband and I had food and a drink in front of us. She truly made the entire day feel effortless. As a more “Type A bride” , being able to put my complete trust in Brianna was priceless. I was able to let go, enjoy my wedding day, and have complete faith that everything was being handled behind the scenes. Bri is truly amazing at what she does! All of our guests raved about the venue, with many telling us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. My husband and I would have to agree. :) Thank you to John, Brianna, Robert Ryan, and all of the staff and people working behind the scenes who helped make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Our fairytale wedding was truly worth the wait, and we cannot recommend the Philander Chase Knox Estate enough to anyone beginning their wedding venue search.”

“If you’re looking for an elegant event in a rustic setting, The Atrium @Terrain in Devon, PA is the place to go (@terrain_devonyard / @terrain_events). I hosted a bridal shower here in June 2025, in the evening. The staff is superb. Food drink fabulous. Honestly, I would have every event for my family here. You really don’t even need to decorate. There’s plenty of room to move about and mingle. I am still receiving rave reviews from my guests for the shower. Emily, my 1st contact, quickly gave me all the details for The Atrium – it is dedicated to smaller affairs and booking is available all year. She set us up with Allison for a tour. Beautiful dining area, plenty of area to mingle, gorgeous outdoor bar / cocktail area. I had seen a beautiful flower cart (with a chandelier) reminiscent of the flower carts in Paris at The Atrium. Allison referred me to Brenda Stewart of Proparazzi Photobooths (@proparazzi_photobooths), a preferred vendor. Thru Brenda, we booked the flower cart, a gorgeous flower wall with props custom signs, and a beautiful balloon arrangement made by Briana (@brianarene_luxevents) (separate review on them – they were fabulous). The flower cart served as a flower bar, w/ flowers supplied by our favorite local flower farmer Dawn Zimmerman (@ethyls_backyard). Guests selected flowers bouquets were made by Vanessa Gagliotti (@cethosiafloral). They also did the florals for the tables. We added pillar candles gauze table runners to the tables but added décor is optional. It is elegant with no added décor. The Atrium has plenty of votive candles to add to every table. The food drinks were perfection. Our signature cocktail was the strawberry rose mojito. It was divine – guests loved it. We had a superb bartender. Aside from the delightful signature cocktail, she made one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve ever had. For the cocktail hour, we did passed hors d’oeuvres – lobster rolls, lollipop lamb chops, Boursin cheese gougères. All delicious. Highly recommend the mixed lettuce salad w/ watermelon, hazelnut, chevre, a tasty red wine/shallot vinaigrette. The signature flowerpot bread is always a favorite. For dinner, we chose the free-range chicken, mushroom risotto, the always superb halibut almondine Desserts were fabulous, all made in house, a selection of honey tartlet, caramel dipped creampuff, brown butter cupcake, cookie truffle, macarons – plus the Terrain black lava sea salt signature cookie. Service was excellent throughout the entire event. We did custom cookies by Emily Retamozo (@emily-retamozo) as a shower favor. Her cookies are gorgeous taste good. We give her details about the honorees and she whips up the most beautiful designs specific to the event. There was some rain on the day of the event – but no problem. The dining area is fully enclosed. The bar area is outside but protected by foliage. The staff preferred vendors know exactly how to set up in the case of rain. Huge thank you to Paige, my event coordinator, for shepherding me through the process and always being quick to answer my emails. So important! On the day of the event, Bridget was our event concierge. Many thanks to Bridget for helping me run the event, making helpful suggestions, keeping us on track, being able to adjust when I changed the flow of the event. We never felt rushed. It was perfection. Photos courtesy of the engaged couple’s friend Alex Dale (Photo cred - @Alex_dale111).”

“Choosing Appleford for our wedding was hands down one of the best choices we made in wedding planning. From the first tour Lisa made the experience as easy and stress free as possible. Their recommended vendors and partnered caters were great, and the open houses they held made selection smooth and gave us peace of mind knowing we were making informed decisions. One reason we loved Appleford was knowing they had a good rain plan - unfortunately, we did have to use this rain plan for some of our day so we were so incredibly grateful that the inside of the estate was stunning and ready for indoor use when the time came. The onsite coordinator was helpful in every respect and helped with everything including wardrobe malfunctions for the mother of the bride (helping to sew her dress when it was needed)! Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was which was obvious from the moment you step on the property. We cannot recommend Appleford enough and are so incredibly grateful that we chose them for our wedding day!”
