Situated just a short 20-minute drive from downtown Kansas City, 1890 Weddings + Events stands as a distinguished 16-acre wedding and event venue, recognized for its historic charm and elegance. The property boasts two distinct private wedding venues, each featuring outdoor ceremony spaces, bridal suites, groomsmen quarters, and enchanting reception halls. The main venue, 1890, showcases a splendid grand ballroom adorned with chandelier lighting, a versatile cocktail barn, and ample space to accommodate up to 350 guests comfortably including overnight options. Positioned at the property's entrance is a captivating Victorian Era home, originally constructed in 1872 and tastefully remodeled in 1890, offering a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

Eventful At Locust Grove is on a farm that was established in 1847 and was named Locust Grove. The home on the property is a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The garden space is where we do our ceremonies, the ceremony area sits next to a field that is either planted in corn or soybeans and is a gorgeous view for your guests. Next door sits our reception venue that is covered with Kansas limestone to give it an old barn feel. There are some cool architectural details inside including white columns and vintage chandeliers. We have a leather Chesterfield sofa in the front room with some leather club chairs and other seating for your guests. It's a great first layer of decor for you to come in and put your spin on for your big day. We offer lots of decor for you to use for the tables and we will set it all up for you once you have made your selections. That leaves you with less to do but the final layer of "fairy dust" to add to your vision.

Housed in the restored Fire Station No. 31, Fire House KC has been meticulously renovated with tradition and elegance. Throughout the entire space, several preserved accessories and artifacts from the era are showcased, including the original fire pole, antique fire hose cart, and fire hose shaft. Blending the history of the area with modern infusions, Fire House KC is now a classy, elegant, and charming event space. The main hall showcases original brick walls and windows, with antique chandeliers adding a touch of elegant refinement. The second floor, which once housed the offices and sleeping quarters for one-duty workers, now features multiple suites for the wedding parties to prepare as well as a perfect intimate ceremony room. A private courtyard space is also available, making an ideal area for a ceremony, cocktail hour or for guests to enjoy a breath of fresh air. Newlyweds-to-be can host both ceremonies and receptions at Fire House KC and have access to the entire space.

Our venue is owned by the team behind Westport Café, a beloved French bistro in Kansas City known for its elevated hospitality—and we bring that same level of care and service to every wedding we host. Cézanne offers a vibrant, built-in gallery aesthetic, a ceremony space with a lush greenery wall, a private bridal suite, and an impressive cocktail program that stands out among local venues. We can host up to 130 for ceremony + reception, 150 for reception only, or up to 200 for cocktail-style gatherings. Welcome to Memorial Station, the perfect place for your special occasion! Memorial Station is nestled in the heart of Belton's Memorial Park (602 Maurer Parkway). The open-air design with eight retractable doors provides the perfect opportunity for easy access to the fully furnished patio and a great view of the surrounding area. The park serves as a beautiful scenic backdrop for photos, too!

Located in Peculiar, Missouri, The Dogwood Gardens is a modern take on a rustic-style wedding event venue. The property is inclusive of eight and a half acres, full of scenic nature and ideal photo backdrops. Inside, couples will find separate get-ready spaces as well as a staircase tucked under a stunning balcony that leads back to the primary celebration area. Also accessible is a large professional prep area for caterers. This space allows a location for chefs to use, composing food to be served fresh. Fitted with a built-in bar, this venue offers up a dedicated area where couples can serve the drinks of their choice. During the celebration, in the main room, an 85-inch screen may be used for slideshows or presentations.
