“We are so happy we went with Chabot Space and Science Center for our wedding. We wanted something unique that also aligned with our interests -- our background in physics, astronomy, and space. The staff at Chabot are incredibly kind and were quick to respond to our emails and questions. The space was incredibly expansive and unique for our guests. The planetarium ceremony was our favorite part, and we will treasure those memories forever. As an educator myself, I fully appreciate that Chabot is a non-profit organization and that my deposit/rental fee goes back to the community and staff. Thank you again for making our day so special!”

Bendiciones”

“Shadelands Ranch was the perfect venue for us! Christine was incredible in her communication with us start to finish, answering any and all questions I had. They are a small team but we felt well taken care of throughout the whole process! If you’re looking for a venue that feels like the perfect mix between beautiful backyard and nature, you found it! The landscaping is beautiful, there is so much space (we had 60 people but it could easily hold 150), it is both kid & dog friendly, tons of parking in the back lot, and feels completely private even though it’s on a main street. It made all of our wedding day dreams come true! It is also one of the most budget friendly options we found while still providing an incredible backdrop to such a special day. Do yourself the favor and BOOK!”

“We booked the gardens in mid May for our wedding and it was a gorgeous wedding venue! It offers a spacious, beautiful garden teeming with blooming roses, different garden areas to explore, a super cute gazebo ceremony space, a nice cocktail area near the reception room, and the reception room with large windows for plenty of natural light. The lot has 50 free parking spaces. The rental rate is fairly reasonable for the venue space and what's offered. In addition to the main spaces, there's a getting ready room downstairs available to add on, seating for the ceremony, circle/rectangular (not full width) tables for dinner, and a few cocktail tables for the bar area downstairs. Management allows for a fair amount of DIYing and independent vendor selections, with the only exceptions being a preferred catering list with good selection and off list caterers allowed with a fee and vetting. Professionals also must put up any hanging decorations in the reception room, and decor can't be hung directly off of the garden structures and reception room walls. We communicated with Jenna throughout the planning process. She was super responsive and helpful, answering every question we sent her way. Overall, I loved the gardens for our wedding and would recommend it to others!”
