I started this business after discovering a love for all things weddings and photography as an art form. I realized the career I originally pursued wasn't exactly for me. After being diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder during grad school and barely being able to physically function, I medically withdrew from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program I was attending. Within that next year, I launched my business!

I love a good story. All types of stories. The ones that make you cry, the ones that fill you with awe, the ones that make you laugh till it hurts and yes especially love stories. I believe that your wedding story should be all these rolled up together in one. On your 5th, 15th, or even 50th wedding anniversary you should be able to look back at your wedding photos and feel all those same emotions as the day of. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.
