The Barns at Wesleyan Hills was an exceptional wedding venue that exceeded our expectations. Their communication throughout the 4-year planning process was always quick, helpful, and informative, which made the entire experience seamless. The quality of their work and overall value was truly remarkable - the venue was beautifully decorated in a dark, romantic style that was well worth the investment. Our day-of coordinator, Sean, was wonderful and so helpful in ensuring we were taken care of on our special day. The only slight downside was that Sean wasn't involved in the full 4-year planning process, so he didn't have the complete picture of our vision. Overall, we highly recommend The Barns at Wesleyan Hills for any couple looking for a rustic, romantic wedding venue with a fantastic team to support them.

If you have the means to, choose Bill Miller's as your venue! My now husband and I were treated like royalty from the first tour to our wedding day. We were never without a beverage and were well fed (almost too full!). Mary was our coordinator, and was never hard to reach. We chose this venue for a few reasons: we would have the venue for the whole day to ourselves, all-inclusive with fantastic food and great drinks, a solid indoor/rain option for the ceremony, and a coordinator was included. Bill Miller's really made our day seamless and everything was incredible. Thank you Mary and everyone at Bill Miller's for a wonderful stress-free day!

Wright’s Mill Farm gave us the wedding day of our dreams — truly, I don’t even have the words for how perfect everything was. From the moment we booked, Bri was an absolute angel. She coordinated every detail with so much care, patience, and flexibility. No matter what I needed or how many times I changed my mind, she was right there making everything feel easy and stress-free. I could feel how much she genuinely cared about our day, and that meant the world. The staff the night of our wedding was beyond amazing. Every single person brought such warmth and energy, and the bartenders were absolutely stellar — they kept the party going, kept every guest happy, and did it all with huge smiles. Our friends and family are still talking about how incredible they were. The food and appetizers were delicious, beautifully presented, and exactly what we hoped for. And the s’mores bar? Such a perfect, cozy, magical touch that made the night feel even more special. Standing there with the people we love, in a place so stunning and cared for by a team that truly goes above and beyond, felt like living inside a dream. I wish I could do it a thousand times over. Some ideas need time and space to materialize. Transforming an old rodeo horse farm into a creative compound for events and projects has proven to be a challenging example. Over time, thoughtful outbuildings and spaces are popping up throughout a fourteen-acre campus of oak forests and wild meadows. One hundred feet of wiggly barn welcomes experiences from intimate projects to large wedding celebrations with loved ones. Now, it’s a steady push towards sustainable, creative projects working in sync with the natural surroundings. Get out in the woods, get a little weird. Try to have a good time. I can't say enough about how special and wonderful this place is. Our experience here was even better than anticipated. The property is beautiful and has plenty of space, and the barn is so unique and lovely. This is not a cookie cutter farm wedding venue, every detail has been carefully considered and taken care of. Adam, the owner, went out of his way to help everything go smoothly and our friends won't stop talking about how amazing it was. It was so special.

  • Has an energetic and exciting atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • No all-inclusive dining options
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
We had our wedding at South Farms on the most beautiful day in August 2025 (August 23rd), and we could not have asked for a more seamless, enjoyable, and memorable experience. From start to finish, everything felt effortless thanks to the incredible staff—especially our planner, Sam Blick. Her expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication made the entire process so easy for us. Sam and the team went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. They supported us with décor decisions, room layout, and the day-of flow, and even made the week leading up to the wedding stress-free by letting us drop off décor items early. In fact, Sam even started unboxing and decorating for us the day before (well outside of her job description!), which was such a kind and thoughtful surprise. They even hosted a “decor trial,” allowing us to mock up flowers, tablescapes, and other details in advance—which was a huge help in visualizing the day. And then there’s the venue itself—absolutely stunning. Our guests (and us!) were in awe of the rolling hills, the wildflowers in bloom, and of course, the iconic White Barn, which truly feels like a centerpiece on its own. The setting gave us the perfect mix of elevated elegance and intimate charm—we didn’t need to add much to make the day feel beautiful and special. We also have to talk about the food. This is not your typical “wedding food.” The executive chef is unbelievably talented and flexible, serving dishes that highlight thoughtful, locally sourced ingredients. It felt like dining at a true farm-to-table restaurant. Weeks later, we’re still getting texts from guests raving about the lobster rolls and filet mignon! We’ve been to weddings where the food was cold or forgettable—South Farms was the complete opposite. Yes, the price point is higher, but if food is important to you, it’s absolutely worth it. We left feeling confident that we got every bit of value out of our investment. We are so grateful we chose South Farms as our wedding venue. It gave us the most perfect day, and we cannot wait to come back for their socials and events to relive memories of our favorite day at our favorite place.

We had a beautiful wedding at the greenhouse of the Beardsley Zoo. The GlowWild light festival in the evening simply added to the magic of the event. The coordinators were wonderful in helping us set up and organize everything. If I had one piece of constructive feedback, it would just be that the head coordinator, Lindsay, was sometimes tricky to get in contact with via telephone for things like making our deposit and final payment for the venue.
