Having launched the studio after numerous years in the corporate world - I couldn’t be happier to now be living my passion to impact the lives of others with flowers. We are a small-scale flower farm located in the Maltby community of Snohomish-Woodinville, Washington. Our passion is growing unique blooms following organic practices. Our team includes me, Caity, my husband Justin, and Jackson, our 4-year-old son who loves to help as much as he can! If you come out to visit our farm, you will surely be greeted by him.

It started with a dream. For years I've had this vision of my family's dream home. On the property, there would be space for me to have a small cottage-like flower studio and make space. Outside would be an abundant garden with many paths one could walk and a few secret seating places. I imagined customers and wedding clients could come to visit my studio and gardens, dreaming up what their wedding or elopement flowers would look like while surrounded by the beauty of flowers.

Sophia is the creative force behind Botanical Preserves. Raised in an artistic household, she’s worked with multiple mediums over the years, with five years of experience in floral design. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. Their nature of fragility adds to their elusiveness, and gives her the opportunity to exhibit the never-to-be-replicated side of her personality every time she works with floral product.
