About Lily & Pearl
Lily & Pearl
I’ve always had a love for flowers and a passion for creating beautiful things! My love for flowers and weddings started eary, long before I ever held a bouquet of my own. I grew up watching my grandmother work in the floral and wedding industry, and some of my earliest memories are of modeling flower girl dresses at bridal shows, wide-eyed at the beauty and joy all around me. Those experiences left a lasting impression, and it's no surprise that I eventually found my way back to this world, creating floral designs that bring happiness and meaning to others.
At Lily & Pearl, we use your vision and our floral expertise to create stunning, custom arrangements for weddings and special events. From romantic and rustic to modern and bold, our design team offers a wide range of styles to match any vibe. We design with fresh, dried, high-end faux, and wood florals, offering something for every style and setting. (Previously For Keeps Floral)

Florals and follow up fell short
I hired For Keeps Floral (which has since rebranded to Lily & Pearl) for my June 2026 wedding after several consultations with Leci to discuss our floral vision. Our package totaled 2,810, including flowers, delivery, and setup. Throughout planning, Leci was kind and responsive, and I felt confident we shared the same expectations. Unfortunately, the experience on our wedding day fell short of what we had discussed. The florist's arrival and setup were significantly delayed, pushing our first look back by more than an hour. This resulted in rushed family photos, several planned photographs being missed, and considerable stress on an already time-sensitive day. Because setup remained incomplete, members of my family also had to assist with portions of the venue setup that were included in the services we purchased. Several floral items were also missing, incomplete, or different from what we had discussed. Two hair combs for our flower girl and junior bridesmaid were not provided, my grandmother's corsage was not completed before family photos, and the ceremony arch arrangements were noticeably smaller and less full than the design and inspiration photos we had discussed. Some arrangements appeared unfinished, and several flowers showed bruising or signs of wilting before the ceremony. I do want to recognize Ashley and Teddy, who worked on-site that day. They were kind, professional, and worked very hard under difficult circumstances. My concerns are with the planning, communication, and overall execution—not with them personally. After the wedding, I contacted Leci to explain my concerns. She apologized, accepted responsibility, acknowledged that our concerns were valid, and stated that she believed a 750 refund was fair. She sent an initial 200 payment on July 13, leaving a remaining balance of 550, and said she would continue payments until the refund was paid in full. Because she explained that she was recovering from knee surgery and had limited funds, I was willing to work with her on a payment schedule. I followed up on August 7 and offered flexible payment options. I then sent a final follow-up requesting a response by August 28. As of August 29, I have received no response and no additional payment toward the remaining 550. I intentionally delayed posting a review because I wanted to resolve this privately and gave multiple opportunities to do so. I understand that unexpected circumstances can happen, particularly for a small business, and I appreciate Leci's initial acknowledgment and 200 payment. However, the lack of communication and follow-through afterward has been disappointing. I genuinely appreciated the kindness and professionalism I experienced during portions of the planning process and from the on-site team. However, based on my overall experience, including the wedding-day issues and the lack of follow-through afterward, I would encourage couples to carefully consider these factors when choosing their florist. I am sharing my experience because I wish I had known how the entire process would ultimately unfold before making my decision. My goal is not to discourage anyone from using a small business, but to provide an honest account so that other couples can make an informed decision about a vendor for an event that is, for most of us, a significant financial and emotional investment. I have attached photos of actual floral pieces versus inspiration photos for reference.
Leci Russell•Aug 31, 2026Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry that your wedding day did not unfold the way you had envisioned, and I understand how disappointing and stressful that must have been, especially on a day with such a tight timeline. I do want to provide some additional context regarding the wedding-day delays. Our floral supply order was unexpectedly delayed by a day, which created an unforeseen last-minute sourcing situation. I had to spend additional time panic-sourcing and shopping for replacement stems and supplemental product that I had not anticipated needin. Unfortunately, the following day, a vehicle malfunction created another unexpected delay in getting everything where it needed to be. These circumstances contributed to the timing issues and the rushed setup on your wedding day. I share this not as an excuse, but to explain what was happening behind the scenes. Regardless of the circumstances, I understand that the responsibility ultimately fell on me to ensure everything was executed properly and that you should not have had to experience the consequences of those problems on your wedding day. I am genuinely sorry that you did. I also want to acknowledge the concerns you brought to me after the wedding. I accepted responsibility for them at that time, and I stand by the $750 refund I promised. I made the initial $200 payment on July 13, and I am making good on my commitment to refund the remaining $550. I recognize that the time it is taking to complete the refund has been frustrating, and I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication regarding the remaining balance. Taking longer than expected does not mean I have forgotten about it or that I am unwilling to make it right. As a small business owner, I have been working through some unexpected circumstances that have affected my ability to make the remaining payment as quickly as I had hoped. That is an explanation, not an excuse. I understand that you should not have had to follow up repeatedly, and I regret that I did not communicate with you more consistently. I truly appreciate you recognizing Ashley and Teddy for the work they did that day. They worked very hard under difficult circumstances, and I agree that they deserve that recognition. While I cannot change what happened on your wedding day, I can follow through on the commitment I made afterward, and I intend to do exactly that. I am sorry that my follow-up has not reflected the level of care and communication you experienced during portions of the planning process. I wish you and your husband nothing but happiness as you begin this next chapter together, and I am genuinely sorry that your experience with me did not meet the expectations we discussed.

Bride
Working with For Keeps Floral was such a joy from start to finish. Leci was responsive to every question we had and made the whole planning process feel like we were collaborating with friends rather than just hiring a vendor. She really knew her stuff when it came to flower options and helped us create arrangements that looked exactly how we imagined. From our rehearsal dinner florals to the wedding bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages, every single piece was absolutely stunning and had this beautiful, bouncy feel that made our day look like a picture-perfect dream. The quality of their work was beyond what we expected for the price, and their kind, fun energy made us feel so taken care of. We'd recommend For Keeps Floral to any couple without hesitation.

Beatiful Work with Exceptional Service
I can't recommend For Keeps Florals enough. Grace created my original wedding flower preservation frame, and after it was unfortunately fell of a shelf and was shattered, I reached out hoping there might be some way to save it. From the very beginning, Grace was unbelievably kind and communicative throughout the entire process. She took so much time to walk me through the options, carefully handled the shattered pieces I sent back, and truly treated the project with the same sentimental care that I felt about it. Grace's generosity and willingness to take on such a delicate remake meant so much to me. The final result is absolutely beautiful. Grace managed to preserve so much of the original flowers and recreated the piece in a way that is deeply meaningful. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and the emotional significance behind these keepsakes. I’m beyond grateful for her craftsmanship, compassion, and attention to detail. If you are considering preserving your wedding flowers, you should absolutely do so with For Keeps Florals!

Executed My Vision
For Keeps Floral was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. They were always responsive and communicated with us at each step of the process. Laci was so nice, friendly and helpful in bringing our "Rustic Patriotic" theme to life with their beautiful floral arrangements. The flowers were less expensive than real flowers but looked just as stunning, and they were photographed beautifully. The little care cards and stickers they included for our bridal party were such a thoughtful touch. We couldn't have been happier with the quality and value of For Keeps Floral's work - they truly nailed our theme. We highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!
