“We had our wedding 10/03/26 here and from the moment we arrived, the entire day was absolutely amazing. I was honestly very nervous that morning, as I think any bride probably is, but those nerves immediately started to disappear when we arrived and were welcomed so warmly by your staff. Everyone was so kind, patient, accommodating, and willing to answer every question we had. You made my family and me feel so taken care of from beginning to end, and that meant more to me than I can put into words. The entire day felt so seamless. The timing of everything was perfect, and there was never a moment where our guests seemed confused about what was happening or where they needed to be. Everything flowed so naturally, which allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about the details. And I have to mention the food — our guests could not stop talking about how amazing everything was! We genuinely did not receive a single complaint. Every person we spoke to had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food, the staff, the service, and the entire experience. Looking back on the day, I truly could not have asked for anything more. It was everything I dreamed our wedding day would be and more, and I know that so much of that was because of the incredible people who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it happen. A thousand thank yous to everyone who played a part in making our day so perfect. We are so incredibly grateful that we found your venue and chose to celebrate such an important day there. You made us feel so welcomed and cared for, and we will always remember that. We 100% recommend this venue to anyone getting married or having an event!!Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything! You truly helped make the beginning of our marriage one of the most beautiful and unforgettable days of our lives -The Fernicolas”

“As someone who has spent the last 11 years in the wedding industry, I've had the privilege of working at countless venues and seeing some truly incredible spaces. What's remarkable about Founders Grove is that somehow Denise and Amber have taken the very best parts of so many venues and thoughtfully brought them together into one place. The venue itself is stunning. Every detail feels intentional. From the flow of the property to the beauty of the ceremony and reception spaces, it's clear that this wasn't just built to host weddings. It was built to create experiences. The space feels elegant, welcoming, and incredibly versatile while still maintaining a warmth that makes it feel personal. What truly sets Founders Grove apart, however, is Denise and Amber. Denise has a calming presence and a genuine passion for serving couples. You can feel how deeply she cares about every person who walks through the doors. Amber brings an incredible vision, attention to detail, and energy that is reflected throughout the entire property. Together, they are an exceptional team whose love for what they do shines through in every interaction. My team at OnTheBeatFX had the honor of serving as the exclusive entertainment vendor during Founders Grove's opening weekend, and we were able to meet countless couples, families, and friends. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. People weren't just impressed by the beauty of the venue. They felt welcomed, cared for, and excited about the experience being created there. For couples considering Founders Grove, know that you're not simply booking a beautiful venue. You're partnering with people who genuinely care about your wedding and are committed to helping create meaningful memories for you and your loved ones. With love, OnTheBeatFX”

“Camden County Boathouse was a 10/10! Staff was super accommodating and easy to contact. The space is very large and beautiful. The bathrooms- which was the only part I didn’t like during the tour the year prior- were newly renovated and gave the space an even more luxurious feel. The indoor ceremony space- which I was very nervous about- was beautiful and made me even forget about the rainy weather. When I arrived, the entire ceremony space ( chairs, walls, etc) had already been set up which was really nice. I decided to move a few tables around last min and staff helped immediately. Martina, who gave me my original tour, was amazing and gave me some great advice early on in our planning journey. Overall, my husband and I both agree we picked an amazing venue with amazing staff and wouldn’t change a thing. My main concern, given our spring wedding, was finding a space that was just as beautiful inside as it was outside in the event that we needed to move everything indoors.. Camden County Boathouse was just that!”

As the father of the bride, I was prepared to shoulder the stress so everyone else could enjoy themselves. Thanks to Breanna, even I could relax and enjoy the celebration. From the time we stepped out of our car on Thursday and Perry helped unload our bags to the time we left for home on Sunday and Perry helped load our car in the pouring rain, I could not have imagined a better weekend. Breanna and the team at the Kimpton made sure everything we brought for the wedding was in the right place and ready for us to take home afterward. From placing our welcome signs and QR photo cards to handling all the little details we requested, the team took care of it all. Truly exceptional. The wedding went off without any issues, with Breanna helping us through both the rehearsal and the actual wedding processional. The cocktail hour on the rooftop Stratus Lounge was beautiful, and dinner was announced by the booming voice of Bernardo, who made sure we all made our way downstairs to the reception. The meals were outstanding, and guests with special dietary restrictions were easily accommodated. Breanna oversaw everything and stayed well into the reception to make sure the event was flawless. We didn’t have a separate wedding coordinator, but Breanna provided that level of guidance and attention to detail, going above and beyond what we expected. Even the next morning, at our farewell brunch, Bernardo was there once again to make sure the meal service ran smoothly. (We think he lives there.) Everyone we spoke with praised the experience, which says so much about the care that went into the entire weekend. Breanna and the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia team were simply amazing. I cannot recommend Breanna, Perry, Bernardo, the rest of the hotel staff, and the venue highly enough. Six out of five stars.”

“When looking at wedding venues we knew that we wanted somewhere that could host all of our wedding day events - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. But we also wanted a venue that would wow our guests. The Penn Museum was the first place we looked and all other venues fell short of its beauty and the energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm of event staff. Our coordinator, Allison, was helpful throughout the whole planning process - she was responsive and accommodating, offering to take us around as many times as we needed. Our wedding day ran smoothly in large part due to her and her catering counterpart, Grace. If you are looking for a one of a kind wedding experience with a truly wonderful staff, look no further than the Penn Museum.”

“The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.”

From the very beginning, their communication was quality, professional, and timely - they were a pleasure to work with. The staff was top-notch, going above and beyond to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. The venue itself offered multiple beautiful settings for pictures, and the flow of the event was perfectly spaced out. We couldn't have asked for a better value for the exceptional service and stunning backdrop they provided. We highly recommend the Fitler Club to any couple looking for a stress-free, beautiful wedding experience. The food was all 5 star in appearance and taste. Like a backyard barbecue without the hassle of cooking and cleaning (for someone who doesn’t have a yard!) Cira Green was able to accommodate us with very little fuss. A couple emails back-and-forth and I had exactly what I wanted, they have lots of different food and drink options and I was able to pick what we needed. The magnificent columned Marble Rotunda, with its view of a classic grand staircase, sets the stage for any occasion. “This place is really the spot for a once in a lifetime dark romantic wedding. First of all, the venue really speaks for itself. The spaces, from the garden to the ballrooms are so beautiful, it doesn't really require a lot of dressing up. Also, when you go with the College of Physicians, you get a full buyout. The whole place is yours, including museum access, which was super important to us. The in house caterer, Catering By Design also makes the whole process a turn key solution. They have the tables, linens, silverware, plates, and a super team. No need to source everything from a million vendors. Despite the fact that they are the exclusive caterer, CBD does not take your experience for granted. They put a ton of care into bringing your vision to life, the food is truly superb, and was a consistent hit with our friends and family. A few things we feel should mention. The museum does have some form of plans for renovations and expansion. We recommend checking with the current status of their plans before committing 100%. We also found that those plans can shift slightly, and for us it was beneficial to be flexible on things like the grooms suite and our first look location. With that being said, we would absolutely have our wedding here again. The rates were extremely reasonable for what you get, and for us it was so unique and memorable. We want to give a special shout out to our contact at CBD Ginger, and Carolyn who handled florals. Thank you guys for making our wedding the best night of our lives.”

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803 to 1811 when need arose of a larger meetinghouse in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Why you'll love this venue

“Arch Street Meeting House proved to be the ideal spot for our wedding. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for and how her team could help bring it to fruition. They allowed us to close the grounds to the public so that our guests could mingle and sip champagne outside in the beautiful weather. All of the guests commented on how tangibly historical the venue was and how they loved the simplicity and timelessness of the ceremony space. (Which looks absolutely stunning in the few preview photos we've gotten back.) Because it was so much more affordable, we also decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there and hired a taco truck to act as the caterers. All in all, I can't recommend ASMH or Jenn and the team more highly!!”

“My now husband and I have been going to Fringe since early in our dating. It's a place we love for its beer garden, good food, cool building, and view of the Ben Franklin Bridge twinkling at night. We knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding here, but we had no idea just how magical the experience would be. Working with Liz at Fringe Bar and Devi at FringeArts Theater made everything so easy. Liz was incredible to work with on all details regarding food and drink menu, schedule of events, and coordinating with other vendors including table rentals, florists, and musicians. Her recommendations were spot on, and our night flowed so effortlessly on our side because of the whole staff's diligent work to make our experience amazing. Our guests enjoyed the indoor and outdoor beer garden during cocktail hour with ample places to cozy up on a beautiful fall night, drinking cocktails outside and inside while kids played corn hole and garden games. When we moved dinner into the theater space, guests were blown away by the delicious food and ambiance. Every appetizer, cocktail, and entree was out of this world delicious, and we had no problem with allergies or dietary restrictions at our 130 person reception. Our guests are still talking about how great the food and service was, months after the fact. Liz made all of our wildest dreams come true. 300 freshly shucked oysters during cocktail hour? You got it. Mai tais with housemade orgeat? It's their specialty. Steak frites for the adults and grilled cheese for the kids? No problem at all. Fireball shots in the middle of dinner with Pitbull's "Fireball" playing in the background? Executed perfectly. The wine poured effortlessly, nobody had to wait at the beautiful bar for a cocktail made to order, and best of all: Liz was spot on in her price estimates so there were no surprises at the end of the night. We went to Fringe the next day to sign the final bill, and Liz was waiting for us with boxed up leftovers from dinner and dessert for our family to enjoy while we flew off on our honeymoon. Liz and every person working with her is really, truly, the best in the business. My husband and I agree that celebrating our wedding at Fringe was the easiest and best decision we made. We couldn't have asked for anything better.”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. Mid-sized weddings with 150 guests come in around $57,123 and larger gatherings of 200 reach about $71,002. Going bigger? Expect to invest around $84,881 for 250 guests or $98,761 for 300 guests. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.
