Record Box Loft is a wedding venue located on the riverfront in downtown Battle Creek. Our original hardwood floors, exposed brick and open floorplan flooded with natural light gives our space an urban, industrial vibe that’s perfect for a party. After an extensive restoration of this historic building, built in 1902, it was rebranded as Record Box Loft to pay homage to its historic roots. Once known as the Record Printing and Box Company, cereal boxes were printed here for many years in the cereal capital of the world. Record Box Loft accommodates small groups of 25 up to large gatherings of 225 guests. Many onsite amenities are provided including onsite preparation rooms, wooden farmhouse tables, industrial chairs, an onsite catering prep kitchen and bar. We are located in southwest Michigan, approximately halfway between Chicago and Detroit and conveniently close to our surrounding communities including Kalamazoo, Jackson, Lansing and Grand Rapids.

MillCreek Wilde sits deep in the countryside of Southwest Michigan just 1.5 hours from Chicago and 2 hours from Detroit. It's a perfect central location for your out of town guests. As you approach MillCreek you are surrounded by rolling fields, fragrant orchard blossoms, fruiting trees and beautiful working farms which sets the stage for your day. Mill Hall was built in 1873 and operated as a grain mill until the early 2000s. Following an extensive renovation, the Hall is now ready for use as an event venue. Fully heated and air conditioned, the building is entirely hardwood, with beautiful light and open design. It is perfect for an eclectic, warm event. The space features two full floors of entertaining space. Downstairs offers 2800 square feet of formal dining area with full bar, featuring four barn doors to the outside porch. The rear of the building is being renovated to provide an dedicated dance and entertainment zone. Upstairs features two lounges, plus two changing areas and cozy prep rooms for the wedding party. From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.
