“My wedding was 2 days ago, and I cannot say enough about Jackie and Blooms by JG. Hire her immediately. From my first call with Jackie almost a year ago, she immediately got my vision. She was so easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted. I told Jackie, "I just want it to look like I went outside, picked a bunch of random flowers, and stuck them in a vase....in February." And boy did she deliver. I sent over a few inspo photos, and my flowers looked better than the inspiration pictures. “Melissa from Amaranth was an absolute angel and really stood out from the other florists in the Villanova area because of how accommodating and reasonably priced she was. We wanted to do something unique and have sustainable centerpieces that were potted plants rather than cut flowers and we bought our own pots to help with the cost. She was the only florist willing to take on this additional complication and even spent time with me helping me select pots that would look good together. She made the centerpieces absolutely beautiful with clusters of multiple pots and plants of different heights and colors. Several of the guests still have the pots and plants in their home! Also, we had a hindu ceremony and needed a very decorative chuppah style structure. Her team did an absolutely beautiful job with a natural wood structure, beautiful greens and flowers, even though they had less time to set it up than planned due to issues with other vendors. Melissa is extremely personable and hardworking and is trying to make the day special for us without charging an arm and a leg. Our wedding would not have been the same without her at all and so glad she was part of our wedding. Thank you Melissa!!!”

“We had the absolute best experience working with Florescent and Sam for our wedding! I truly cannot say enough great things about them! I came to Sam with the idea of doing a colorful meadow for our altar but the issue was that the inspo pictures I had for this were from a VERY pricy Lake Como wedding. But Sam came to the rescue and figured out a way to make my floral dreams come true on my much more limited budget! She worked hard to come up with ways that the flowers could be repurposed and used in different ways throughout the venue following our ceremony. She took all of my notes about the colors of flowers I was interested in and completely exceeded my expectations without much more direction from me! She came up with the most beautiful combinations of flowers in the arrangements and bouquets she created and totally blew us all away! When I first walked into our wedding venue I was completely amazed by what Sam and her team did and how their amazing work transformed the space and brought my dreams to life. FWith over 12 years of experience in floral design in New York City, Florescent’s founder Samantha Smerconish brings her background in visual arts / production to her work - blending structure, movement, and natural beauty. She was drawn to floristry as a way to create with living materials while immersed in an urban landscape. Her journey with flowers began as a mobile bicycle cart, selling arrangements in parks and at pop-ups throughout the city. What started as a small, moving studio grew into a permanent workspace, and now into a retail floral space rooted in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

“Sheryl and her team did a fantastic job. I asked her for as much color and as many florals as possible within my budget and she provided. I received so many compliments on her work. Her communication was great. Due to rain her team had to do a faster than expected turn around to repurpose the ceremony flowers and they did great. The flowers lasted for 2 weeks.”
