The Lodges at Gettysburg was a beautiful, magical place to host our wedding! From the get-go, Beth Senseney was wanting to help make our dreams a reality. She answered ALL of my many questions throughout the wedding process, and is very good at her job. It was very convenient to have everything on property, from ceremony-reception to the afterparty. The bridal suite is gorgeous, and our day-of coordinator, Matia, was phenomenal. She’s on top of everything, and quick to resolve little issues, like when a bridesmaid didn’t have a chair. Matia was even down by the ceremony site fanning me before I walked down the aisle, because I was crying- it was such a wonderful day, and all of our guests kept saying how much they enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and the champagne was amazing. Coming back to our lodge at the end of the evening, we found cupcakes and extra food from the reception in our mini fridge, and couldn’t help but smile. While it was an expensive choice of venue/food, as the food is required to come from the Lodges, you get what you pay for. There was a miscommunication with the welcome bags, and the front desk employee did not seem to enjoy her job, but we figured it out (thank you!). Thank you, Beth, Matia, and the team, for helping us have the best day, ever!

Zigbone Farm was the spiritual heart of our wedding. As soon as we booked this venue, everything flowed from there. Schedule, design and theme, decisions about other vendors and guest list — everything else became easier because this venue provided such a gorgeously strong anchor point in the middle of our special celebration. What more can you ask for? Every single vendor commented on the uncommon beauty and peace of this venue. We loved having our welcome dinner here on Friday night and having a local vendor make pizza in the cob oven. On Saturday when it rained, we didn’t have to worry because we knew the lodge house would beautifully accommodate our guests for cocktail hour and that the pavilion and event hall would be fine if the rain didn’t stop (it did, and we got a double rainbow!). On Sunday, we hosted a beautiful farewell breakfast. It was so wonderful to be able to have so many friends stay on site with us, and to have some space from them in the bridal suite. Not having to leave the property once during the entire weekend was such a blessing and kept things from feeling too busy or crazy. Marijke was our main contact and she was so quick to respond to any questions we had and really fun to interact with. She clearly loves this place and has a deep enthusiasm for the couples who celebrate there. Our guests who stayed on site felt so spoiled and kept remarking on how relaxed they felt, that it felt like a true retreat for them even amid a busy schedule of events. We really hope to return to Zigbone for a reunion one day, what a special sacred place. I cannot recommend it enough to any couple marrying. Especially as a queer couple, we felt deeply affirmed, safe and celebrated here. Thank you Marijke and Dena!!

Located in close proximity to Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the venue offers a charming 220-acre space with access to attractions such as golf, wineries, and hiking. We had our wedding at Caboose Farm on October 25, 2025, and it was truly the most perfect day. One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue was the layout and how relaxed and easy everything felt from the start. We rented five of the houses on the property for the weekend, which allowed our families to stay together in big groups. It made the entire experience feel like a getaway, and having our house right next door to the event space was incredibly convenient. We rented the property for Friday and Saturday, held our rehearsal on Friday, and our wedding on Saturday. We had access to the event barn both days without any issues, which made setting up and settling in stress free. Our ceremony was in the woods, and it felt like something out of a dream. The foliage was beautiful and made for amazing pictures. Guests could walk or take the tractor wagon to the ceremony spot, which everyone loved. We added blankets to the wagon, and guests brought their drinks for a fun ride out. They also recently added a field of wildflowers on the property, and some of my favorite photos were taken there. A golf cart was available to help two of our guests who needed extra support get to and from the ceremony site comfortably. Cocktail hour was outside on the terrace that is connected to the event barn. The hanging lights made it feel romantic and cozy, and guests could step inside if they got chilly. The bar area and theatre room were right inside through a double door, and the theatre room was perfect for playing a slideshow of us. We were also able to have our dogs with us both days, which meant so much. Colby, the property manager, was incredible from start to finish. He made sure we were taken care of and that everything ran smoothly. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, which made the whole weekend feel effortless. Any time a small question or worry came up, Colby stepped in and handled it. I remember talking through whether our caterer needed to pre cut fruit for our specialty cocktails, and he immediately said their bartender could take care of it the night before. He also kept an eye on the weather and checked in with me about moving our rehearsal dinner indoors if needed. Little things like that helped me get through the weekend with so much less stress. The venue provided the ceremony arch, coolers for pre ceremony drinks, all the tables, chairs, linens, and napkins. We had 113 guests, and the indoor reception space fit everyone perfectly without feeling tight or crowded. Everything from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception flowed beautifully. Caboose Farm gave us a wedding weekend we will never forget, and I truly cannot recommend it highly enough.

Booking the Visitation Hotel for our wedding was a smooth and easy experience. Every step of the way the communication was speedy and clear (no surprises!!!). We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at the Visitation hotel! It checked all the boxes of what we were looking for - amazing location in beautiful downtown Frederick, MD., beautiful hotel that blends modern upscale style while still paying homage to a building that dates back to the 1800s!!! Our guests praised us on the beauty of the outdoor tent, the ballroom, the hotel rooms, the absolute 5 star quality of the food, and the convenience of everything being in one location for a wedding. Mazie our sales and catering director really went above and beyond making us feel special throughout the process. From our private tasting experience to literally walking around with a platter holding our signature drinks while we took pictures with our family after the ceremony. It was truly the best day and we couldn't be happier about our selection of the Visitation hotel for our wedding!

Milton Ridge was an incredible place to get married! The beauty of the venue and the inclusive wedding options (i.e. catering, DJ, etc.) made this the absolute perfect place to say, "I do!" The getting ready suites were superb & made the day of preparation before the ceremony seamless. The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. I was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! Guests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! The reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! I cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the most memorable and BEST day of our lives! We owe it to this team, this venue and their support with planning our wedding every step of the way!

We had an amazing time at Camp Puh'Tok for our wedding weekend! We booked for a full weekend and invited friends to stay multiple nights to celebrate with us. We used so many different areas of camp for activities, and the venue offered lots of space both to spread out and to gather. The night before our wedding, a huge storm swept through and knocked out the power and water to the venue. It could have been a disaster, but Elizabeth and Alexi brought us bottled water and located generators and portable bathrooms for the wedding day. We made the most of it and still got to use the zipline and pool and had an incredible reception in the dining hall. I was so grateful for their help, and so glad we chose Puh'Tok!

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.
