With a combined 25 years of Air Force service and two young boys at home, we’ve built Heron’s Hollow around one core idea: Your wedding should feel relaxed, personal, and truly enjoyable from start to finish. We host only 10 weddings each year, giving you exclusive access to all 31 private acres for the entire weekend, along with 5-star overnight accommodations for up to 30 guests. Set up at your own pace. Host your rehearsal on-site. Wake up where you’re getting married. No rushing. No traveling. No stress. We provide tables, chairs, arches, luxury restroom trailers, handmade wooden bars, wood rounds, mason jars, and a wide range of thoughtfully curated details. There are no restrictions on catering or alcohol, you’re free to create a celebration that reflects you. Our reception barn is fully climate-controlled for comfort in every season.

Caboose Farm is a beautiful, rustic wedding venue located in Sabillasville, Maryland (just north of Frederick, MD) that blends beautiful scenery with convenient accommodations. Located in close proximity to Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the venue offers a charming 220-acre space with access to attractions such as golf, wineries, and hiking. Its scenery also provides a beautiful backdrop for events, with scenic wedding sites to choose from, countryside barn, and pastoral farms and pastures. Inside the event buildling we can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated dinner. For groups over 150, we would have to bring in a tent for the dinner portion of the evening. The property offers seven fully furnished houses on its premises that can, collectively, accommodate 97 guests. The houses offer you the opportunity to spend a full weekend with your friends and family while celebrating your special day with those you love!

The Civil War-era barn and farmhouse sit on the Gettysburg Battlefield and allow for indoor or outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The 1820’s Civil War Barn accommodates up to 140 guests and houses a dressing room. It is most comfortable May-November, as the weather affects the temperature in the barn. There are several lawns and gardens for beautiful outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours. The Solarium, which is available year round, features natural sunlight, a dramatic historic fireplace, cathedral ceiling, and chandeliers. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life.
