Located five miles from Tryon Palace in New Bern, our 33-acre farm offers the best of an idyllic, country setting, as well as the conveniences of the city for the gathering of your dreams. Discover the magic of our farmhouse, built in 1870, surrounded by trees hundreds of years old and a private pond. Stay on property before and after your wedding at our 3 bed, 2 bath farmhouse, while being within a 7-minute drive to downtown New Bern and all the bars, restaurants and entertainment on offer there.

The Farm at 95 offically opened it's doors in October of 2013 and to this day is one of the two largest venues in Johnston County (oh, our sister location is the other larges venue)! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 42, which we opened in March of 2018. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has simple improvements such as larger dressing suites, upgraded finishes and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

Tara Creek has many different areas for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even rehearsal dinner. We have enough spots (indoor, outdoor, and partial) for everything to be in a different location if desired! Our packages are buildable and we pride ourselves in personalizing every celebration to fit your needs! Fun fact about us is that we began as a working farm originally but now only partially. We now hold weddings, corporate events, rodeos, concerts and even sell Christmas Trees at Thanksgiving! Everyone says the pictures doesn’t do it justice as soon as they walk in which is a huge compliment! It’s usually the other way around and photos are deceptive! We're uniquely charming as a 120-year-old historic home that comfortably accommodates up to 70 guests. When you choose The Dupree House, you'll have access to three distinct areas: our elegant Main room, the functional Bar area, and our spacious Outdoor Deck, all available for you to utilize as you wish. We also have a Bridal suite that can be added on.

In addition, we have a smaller space (The Maple Room) that is perfect for those more intimate weddings of 60 guests or less, with "micro wedding" pricing. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 95, which we opened as our original location in 2013. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has a few different finishes, skylight and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

Happily accommodating 200 guests, we have two dressing suites, a full kitchen, a dedicated ceremony room, plenty of bathrooms and air conditioning throughout. There is ample of parking for all of your guests and staff will be on site for the duration of your event. The English Country Barn offers several flexible space choices to make the wedding of your dreams come to life! A huge covered chapel seating up to 200 guests giving you even more choice for your ceremony. In addition we have a stunning outdoor fireplace, a beautiful fountain and hand crafted outdoor bar all on our adjacent patio, the perfect spot for cocktail hour. We also boast 3 houses onsite available for wedding party or out of town guests.

We offer space for approximately 450 guests for expos and conferences, about 300 guests for weddings and formal events, and for outdoor events and concerts we can accommodate over 600 guests. We have a variety of locations on the property available for your special events, in addition to the Barn.
