“Wedding food sometimes gets a bad reputation, for good reason I suppose. But I can say definitively that Anyae and team cooked the best wedding meal I’ve ever had - I REALLY loved our dinner. Beyond that, out of all of our vendors, they were consistently one of the only ones we didn’t have to stress over. Anyae is consistently responsive (despite my many, many tedious questions), and her flexibility and caring nature truly went above and beyond even our best expectations. Anyae was not just a caterer - she became a confidant and a friend. We found Anyae when we had to fire our original caterer for basically ghosting us and being wishy-washy with poor communication regarding our reception venue’s simple requirements regarding open flame. Anyae stepped in and saved the day, despite a relatively quick turnaround (for weddings at least). We were so impressed with her team’s professionalism and DANG GOOD FOOD. We’d hire them again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to all of our friends. Absolutely phenomenal experience. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you, Anyae, for everything. As a sought-after wellness retreat chef and wedding chef, Chef Anna has traveled extensively across the United States and internationally. Her home base is Figure Eight Island, NC. A true hospitality professional, Chef Anna received the Michelin Key award in 2024 and 2025.

“We called Chef Anna “the Zen Chef” because she radiated calm and warmth every time she cooked or dropped off meals. On our wedding day, she was the one vendor who was fully calm, centered, and confident, an incredibly grounding presence for everyone. We had six meals with her, from the welcome dinner to brunches, reception, and an unforgettable late-night spread. She handled everything; shopping, cooking, cleanup and made us feel deeply cared for as a family during our long wedding weekend on Figure Eight Island, NC. Aside from cooking, which she obviously loves, she said her favorite part of her business is helping people make the most of their time together, and that was absolutely true for us. It felt like we bought the gift of time, which is priceless. And we can’t stop talking about the food. Literally better than any restaurant, truly.
