“My wife and I were so fortunate to have picked DJ Torpedo & Co. for our May 2024 wedding in Georgetown. I feel music and the emcee often makes or breaks a great wedding, so I spent considerable time reviewing possible DJs to work with. We ended up going to DJ Addison, who at the time was considered a "first-year DJ." He exceeded all expectations. Addison was simply a treat to work with in the planning stages and was exceptionally on point and professional during the wedding day. He's funny but classy, professional but not uptight, willing to make on-the-fly changes, and kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. From his bridal party introductions to saying goodbye at the end of the night, he was simply great. Our wedding was moved inside at the last minute due to rain and he somehow relocated his setup on the fly and didn't complain or seem stressed during the chaos. DJ Torpedo offers a really wonderful music planning app that is easy to understand and pick your songs from ceremony to reception. The app has YouTube integration that allows you to easily assemble your playlists. “My partner and I came into our wedding planning with a lofty idea - 150 person backyard wedding in the summer heat. Brandon took on the challenge not only with enthusiasm, but also an incredible amount of flexibility, clear direction, and belief. His communication style is stellar - he is readily available and we appreciated his application to make picking songs and organizing them seamless. He is certainly not an "in-your-face" DJ - he makes sure you are the star of your day, and will fill in the gaps where necessary to make your dream come true. I personally had a fairly outlandish request for my mother-son dance, and he just rolled with it - as if it was the simplest and most approachable request ever. “A DJ can make or break a wedding. Adam did an amazing job from beginning to end for our daughter's wedding. He was thorough in his information gathering. He followed up with us consistently bout the songs, the timeline, the last-minute adds, etc. Just fabulous. The night of the wedding, he was professional, helpful, on task, on time, and best of all he kept the dance floor alive all night. He honored all of our requests and above & beyond in some cases. My daughter and her new husband was cutting the cake with my husband's Marine Corps Sword. We neglected to get his the correct music for a Marine Corps Cake Cutting. He found the Marine Corps him but for the cake cutting, the song is a softer and slower version. My husband explained this to him and he said he would search for it (during the cocktail hour). Lo and behold, he found the right one and it went off perfectly. Huge shout out to Adam to ending a perfect day with a perfect night.”

Party Girl Entertainment is run and operated by Amy Reid; an active Baltimore DJ, musician and events curator performing since 2010. Driven by music, a sincere joy of the dance floor and the power it has to bring people together, she formed PGE in 2019 with this goal in mind. She is accommodating and welcomes venues both intimate and expansive. In 2017, The Baltimore Sun deemed Reid as one of “10 Baltimore Musicians on the Rise.” She has also been featured in Baltimore Magazine’s “Faces of Pride” issue in 2019. Her favorite party starters are Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance.”

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. “Mark or DJ Cool was absolutely awesome the ceremony had two Electro-Voice e-verse 8 speakers which provided exceptional sound the microphone for the ceremony was strategically placed and then the reception sound system is just awesome he was correct when he told us his Yamaha dzr top speakers where outstanding and they were when we went to dance to a little hip hop the bass Rock but as he said it did not shake the glasses at the grandparents table we were just so happy it's unbelievable so we gave him a 500 tip”
