Roses & Acorns Creekside Weddings is venue only rental located at Camp Nauvoo near Placerville, California offers all the natural beauty of the outdoors while keeping the convenience of an onsite lodge, kitchen and restroom facilities for weddings & receptions. We are located on year-round Weber Creek. We have an idyllic meadow featuring an amish gazebo and various arbors. We have a bridal room, lodge with cozy fireplace with AC/heat, large commercial kitchen, restroom and showers with flush toilets, wedding tables and chairs for up to 125 guests (50 cars) . We offer camping weddings including glamping tents, teepees, cabin tents, camp fire bowl, volleyball/ basketball courts. Our philosophy is to provide an affordable wedding venue that allows the bride to customize to her dream wedding. We offer limited availability in the spring and fall. Our specialty is camping weddings also in summer. We are a venue rental but have lots of vendor options available. May 1 - October 30th each year.

The spacious courtyard provides plenty of room for table seating up to 300 guests. As evening descends and stars emerge, romantic string lights outline the dance floor and 400 square foot cascading fountain. We also have a tavern-style bar, equipped with drink refrigerators, beer taps, cocktail tables and bar stools. Originally called Cold Spring Ranch due to an ice cold spring. The Dorrington Hotel was built in 1852 by John Gardner who married Rebecca Dorrington and moved her out from Scotland.
