We celebrated our wedding on June 29 with about 75 guests, and it was nothing short of magical. We exchanged our personal vows before the ceremony, which took place outside in front of a beatiful waterfall. The setting was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for our special day. Cindy and the entire 650 crew were phenomenal! Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day perfect was evident in everything they did. I wish I had more time to give each of them a hug for their incredible work! The food and drinks were simply amazing — to say they were delicious would be an understatement. What truly set this venue apart was Cindy’s dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly. She was on top of every detail, even those I wasn’t aware of, allowing me to fully enjoy my day without any worries. I am so grateful to Cindy and the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable. Overall, we are happy with our wedding day. The Mansion is in the process of being renovated/restored and so far it is looking beautiful! The hotel rooms were recently updated and guests were happy with them. The food was also FANTASTIC! (All of our guests were raving about all of the food). They clearly are a well oiled machine when it comes to throwing weddings. We also had our welcome dinner there the night before, which went amazingly and there was so much food everyone was happy! However, there were a few hiccups that bothered us considering how much money is put into having a wedding & how this venue does weddings all.the.time. so expectations are high. In the planning process, the event coordinator position was replaced 3 times in the year we were planning our wedding with them, the last replacement being the week before our wedding. The final replacement did not have any of our vendor info or cake selections and called me 4 days before my wedding about it (...scary). It must've been a miscommunication from the coordinator prior to her, as that girl never responded to any of our emails; I'm sure she did not keep any notes. The current coordinator also could not answer simple questions our friends/family asked her and was very pushy. On our wedding day, I was paired with a Maitre D who was very sweet, but I'm not sure about her "years" of experience that she claimed to have. While taking photos with our photographer she wasn't paying attention and wasn't fixing my dress/veil every time wind blew it out of place so the photographer had to leave his place each time to fix it himself (it was a windy day so this happened a lot). The photographer also asked her to assist in a "veil toss" shot and she ripped the veil from my head, yanking my head back, when she was just supposed to toss it up in the air. It hurt and pulled on my hair style that was supposed to last all night. I mentioned before the food was excellent, and the Chef is incredible. However, when we booked our venue last year, we were adamant about wanting a real wedding cake--not a fake one you cut one slice into for pictures. We were told by one of the event planners there that all tiers were going to be real cake, but during our cake cutting, we cut into styrofoam...it was disappointing. The cake they served was delicious, but we thought we were paying for a real cake because we were told it would be 100% real. We probably would not have booked this venue had we known we'd get a fake cake; it was something my dad made sure to ask at every venue we checked out, it was important to him. Additionally, some rude comments were overheard by our guests made by various staff members about our wedding. As a business owner whose business is to also provide a service, that is absolutely unacceptable, especially while on the job where people can hear you. Jazmin, the Chef, and the front desk ladies were very pleasant and professional to work with, but no one else there seemed to know what they were doing. It ended up working out but again, with how many weddings this place throws, you'd expect a better level of professionalism.

We had our wedding on the rooftop of Greats of Craft in September. We COULD NOT be happier with how the event turned out!!! First and foremost, Joe & Stella are awesome to work with - such friendly and genuine people. They made the planning process as stress-free as it could be, by being communicative, dependable, and accommodating. We already loved the venue, but meeting with them made it an easy decision to choose GoC. We held a mini-ceremony and the reception on the rooftop for 60 people. We wanted it to be less formal (like an “elevated party”) but still trendy, and GoC checked all the boxes. The vibes and setting were PERFECTION: the backdrop of the Queensboro Bridge at dusk for our ceremony; cute string lights with a brick wall and large screen for our slideshow, perfect weather, plenty of room for people to mingle, sit down to eat, and dance. The ENTIRE GoC team/staff were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and took great care of us and all of our guests. Shout out to Trey and Eddie!! We went with in-house catering for the food - Chef Chris is the best and everything tasted delicious!!! We got SO many compliments on the food from our guests. We still continue to rave about GoC being such a gem of an event space. Trying to find a reasonably-priced, high-quality wedding venue in NYC is difficult and sometimes discouraging. We feel so fortunate that we were able to have our wedding celebration here, it felt like a complete DREAM!!! Thank you, Joe & Stella and the whole GoC crew!!

Joe and I had our wedding/25 years together celebration at Hudson Prime with 70 of our closest friends and family. I was looking for a place overlooking the Hudson that was reasonably priced. Floria was fantastic guiding us through the process, choosing the menu; helping find a DJ, even matching the printed party menu to our invitations. Gino, Arif and the restaurant staff were so attentive and supportive while setting up and throughout the event. Everyone had a wonderful time! The dance floor area was just the right size and the DJ played a fantastic mix. The food... exceptional; the high praise that friends and family shared for all the dishes they ate went on for weeks. I say, try the bacon! My only bummer was that the sunset was hiding behind the rain clouds. We did go back a couple weeks later and had dinner enjoying the sunset views. Highly recommend! Definitely made the right choice. We will be back for dinners in the future. Maybe even on an anniversary or two.

My husband and I hosted our entire wedding weekend at The Rockaway Hotel in May 2026, and it was a dream come true, thanks to the cool and beautiful venue, the incredible guest experience, most importantly, team at TRH who made it come true. Our venue search was unique. With roots in both NY NJ, we were torn between wanted a beach or city wedding The Rockaway Hotel checked every box an It's accessible from Manhattan, LI, NJ, and the airports, while still feeling like a true beach getaway. The moment we walked into the hotel, and especially when we stepped onto the rooftop overlooking both the ocean and the Manhattan skyline, we knew we had found our venue. It's chic, modern, beachy, and fun, and it felt so perfectly "us." We also loved that we could host our entire wedding weekend in one place while giving our guests a completely unique experience. Throughout planning, we worked closely with Erika, Kristen, Jay, and Margo, alongside our incredible planner, Lexi from Finally May. Margo made managing our hotel room block effortless, and the entire team made us feel like we could truly customize our wedding. They welcomed our ideas, worked seamlessly with all of our outside vendors, and helped us create a weekend that felt completely personal to us. There was a change in event leadership during planning that created a few bumps early on, but once the final team was in place, everything came together beautifully. One of the biggest reasons we'd recommend The Rockaway Hotel is the variety of spaces throughout the property. We hosted our welcome party in the Pool House, our ceremony on the Ocean Terrace, cocktail hour on the rooftop, our reception in the Harbor Room, and ended the night with an after-party back upstairs. Every event felt completely different while still being under one roof, which made the entire weekend so easy and enjoyable for our guests. Our ceremony was originally planned for the Ocean Terrace, and despite an incredibly windy wedding day, the team went above and beyond to make it happen safely. They checked in with me, supported my decision to move forward, and worked to ensure everything was perfect. I'll never be able to thank the team enough for making the ceremony of our dreams happen. The hotel is also an incredible backdrop for photos. Every space, from the lobby to Margie's to the rooftop, has its own personality, and we used it all for our wedding photos, which turned out incredible The food was outstanding all weekend long, the drinks never stopped flowing, and every single staff member made us and our guests feel genuinely cared for. Looking back, what made The Rockaway Hotel so special was the combination of a beautiful venue, the ability to host our loved ones together for an entire weekend, and a team that truly cared about bringing our vision to life. As an anxious bride, I always felt like I was in good hands. Since our wedding, we've had countless guests tell us it was one of, if not the, best weddings they've ever attended. While so many people helped make our weekend unforgettable, The Rockaway Hotel was the foundation that made it all possible. If you're looking for a venue that feels like a destination wedding without ever leaving New York, I cannot recommend The Rockaway Hotel enough. We will forever be grateful that our marriage began here.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even creating a special signature cocktail for us that reflected our personalities. We are so grateful to the Nowadays team for helping make our special day truly unforgettable.

We could not have been happier with how our wedding day turned out, and how seamless and stress-free the planning process was. Emily, CL's events coordinator, is just awesome. She's communicative, flexible, and makes the entire process as easy as possible. We did a tasting prior to our wedding and we were blown away by how good the food was; people at and after our wedding also told us that they were not expecting such good food at a brewery. I would absolutely, 10000% recommend having your wedding at Captain Lawrence Brewery!

Calissa was amazing! We booked our wedding ceremony/reception and they were all so accommodating. The restaurant/venue is beautiful on its own, so we didn’t need much for flowers and decor. The food was delicious, our guests said that food kept coming and that’s exactly what we were looking for. And the service was excellent. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. From the planning of the day’s events, including the amazing band, to the food and the details, Calissa was amazing. Several of our guests said our wedding was the best ever! Dara and Kylie were amazing! Our day was perfect!

From our first conversation with the owner, we knew right away we were in good hands. The space itself is warm and inviting, and the food was truly 5-star quality. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had every dish we wanted, and our guests raved about the delicious family style apps and out of this world entrees. The owner even made sure we had the freshest fish option for our guests, and my husband LOVED IT! We were blown away when the staff brought trays of desserts outside so everyone could enjoy them wherever they were. The love and care the owner poured into our wedding day through that fantastic dinner made our celebration feel so special. We can't thank him and his staff enough.
