The Best Fine Art Wedding Photographers in Long Beach, CA

“I remember at the end of the day, being so overwhelmed with gratitude for Erin that my eyes overflowed with tears. As she is someone that has had so much experience with weddings, she absolutely played a critical role in prompting us to consider different things that she was able to anticipate that we had yet to imagine might be something of importance. I soo appreciated the way that she encouraged my spouse and I to turn our attention towards each other and gave us space and time to really absorb the events of our wedding day. I didn't feel like a number in a ledger when it came to her, but that she was there to be attentive to the thoughts and desires of our deepest selves. She was full of ideas and was so great with getting our nieces to look at camera for photos. (twin girls that were about two at the time) I want to print ALL of the pictures but have had to use some restraint as they are all so lovely. Her work exceeded my expectations and I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a similar experience and so many lovely photos to cherish forever. Thank you Erin! 3”

Weddings are rare opportunities to create meaning and magic for ourselves and the people we love, and that belief sits at the heart of my work. I take a holistic approach, starting with who you are and what you value, then helping shape a day that feels as beautiful as it looks, in whatever way is right for you. While photography is my focus, my background includes planning, coordination, and officiation, giving me a deep understanding of how weddings truly unfold. This perspective enhances every style of wedding, from timeless traditions to thoughtfully non-traditional celebrations.

Hi you guys, my name's Natalie, & I'm so glad you're here! I’m a joy-filled, Southern California surfer girl who is in love with capturing weddings. My style? It’s timeless, romantic, adventuresome, & personal. I’m dedicated to capturing fine elegance + raw beauty all the while keeping it real + being authentic. Your job is to be in love & live in that excitement with each other. My job is to make it easy + enjoyable for you two to be yourselves, 100%, as I frame and capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments in a way that only my mind can. Congratulations to you both! Looking forward to getting to know each other! xx Natalie

“Natalie is the most professional, genuine, and talented wedding photographer. I promise you that you cannot and simply will not find a lovelier, more generous, or more brilliant person to help you sidestep stress and make the wedding planning process and wedding day a joy. At our wedding, three different people asked me if I'd later share her contact information with them for whenever they got married. Just think about that for a moment: three people were so blown away by Natalie's warmth, energy, and beautiful, bubbly personality that they would hire her on the spot without having yet seen her stunning work and even though they weren't engaged. Natalie's smile brightens up an entire room, and she has a truly remarkable way of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. She'll make you laugh, she'll keep your energy up, she'll capture the moments you dreamed would one day hang on your walls, and most of all, she will make you feel like your day, your marriage, and your love are the center of the entire world. This gift of her presence and love is extraordinary, and I promise you that it extends beyond anything you could ever hope or expect to receive from any wedding vendor. I cried when she sent us our photos because they are so profoundly beautiful and so full of the true emotion that she naturally drew from even the most reserved of our family members. Every photo was so natural and full of light and joy. Natalie has so much talent, and if you're one of her brides you'll quickly realize how lucky you are to have someone care so deeply about you and about capturing your special day. Before our wedding, Natalie spoke with me over email and on the phone, sent a thoughtful questionnaire to help us articulate our aesthetic and photography hopes, sent a quick engagement gift, and even checked in over text to make sure I was doing well the week before the wedding. After the wedding, she sent cute thank you gifts and GORGEOUS photos (you will love yours too!). But my favorite memory will always be from our wedding day when she took a moment to dance with my shy 5 year old nephew and draw him out of his shell so he could enjoy the party. The huge smile on his face will always be one of my most precious moments of our wedding day. My nephew, like so many of our guests, still ask about Natalie all the time. It was a pleasure to work with Natalie and to get to know her, and I hope you too will be fortunate to experience Natalie's light, love, and unparalleled talent.”

“Tiffany is a not only an outstanding photographer but she is a genuinely kind human. I have been fortunate enough to work with Tiffany on other weddings & photoshoots (I’m a Makeup Artist) so I had no doubt that she would be shooting our wedding! She is extremely professional and always responded to questions in a timely matter. I already knew how efficient Tiffany is so I went into the day with such comfort, and I can assure you she will do the same for you! I almost feel like she was even my planner, since she had made the timeline for the day and stuck to it. We did our engagement session with Tiffany which was a great way to become more comfortable in front of the camera and learn some poses for the wedding day, she even took some good shots of our dog for our engagement session. Our wedding was a destination that was about 5 hours form LA and she was more than happy to travel. She was able to capture EVERY moment. Tiffany was great at keeping everything on time and controlled. One of the things that sets Tiffany apart form other wedding photographer’s is that her images do not look over-edited or trend based. She has a very classic and bright style of photography and looking back at all of our images years from now I know we will not be disappointed. We are so thankful for her capturing every moment from a day that goes by so quick! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tiffany J Photography!”

“We loved having Chelsea as our wedding photographer! We received high quality pictures for a reasonable price. We really appreciated having a free engagement photoshoot included in our package! She gave great direction for poses and was so well-prepared that she even had a veil in her car that we could use for some intimate pictures during our wedding. We were very glad that there was an option for adding on a second photographer to our wedding package. Chelsea has a great personality and communicates well. Would definitely work with her again!!!!”

In 2013, I took the camera from the photographer I was assisting at a wedding and haven't been able to put it down since. I believe capturing some of the most memorable moments in a couple's life is an honor and a privilege. My passion is fueled by the thought that the bride and groom will be able to look back on these images and relive one of the best days of their lives. The love, joy, camaraderie, and coming together of families to celebrate is electrifying, and photographing that energy gives me purpose. I never anticipated being a photographer, but im so happy photography found me.

After 10 years of shooting I can tell you happily that I still think I somehow got away with having the best job in the world. I adore being able to photograph the moments of life that make it worth living. Weddings, birth, family, there are concentrated amounts of love in these moments and being able to give someone a way to hold on to that visually is absolutely wonderful.

“Christy is a true professional - she is meticulous, creative, and a master of her craft. She captured my husband and I so authentically for both our engagement and wedding photos. She and her team were responsive, professional and accommodating from start to finish. Christy remained calm and composed despite the summer heat, family chaos, and various photo requests throughout the night. She made us the priority and ensured we felt comfortable and taken care of. We intend to hire her a million more times for life events worth capturing! Can’t recommend her enough.”

Thistle & Poppy Photography

“Leah at Thistle & Poppy is incredible! We first hired her to do our Engagement photos and absolutely fell in love with her style, attention to detail, and ability to capture exactly what we wanted! We loved her so much that we hired her to shoot our rehearsal dinner and post wedding brunch (we had already booked a wedding photographer or we would have booked her for that as well). She really listened to what we were looking for in an engagement shoot and expanded upon it and fully brought it to life. She has an incredible ability to capture the intimate moments that you didn’t even know were happening, and she’s great for helping with posing and positioning for those of us that are not good in front of a camera. Neither of us consider ourselves “photogenic” and we’re both self conscious about getting our pictures taken. Leah made us feel completely comfortable and completely alleviated our anxiety, and the pictures speak for themselves! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding / engagement photographer to hire her immediately before someone else does!”

Becca Maas Photography

“Choosing Rebecca for our engagement session was one of the best first decisions we have ever made as we started our journey to our big day. Rebecca was absolutely the right person to capture all of our unadulterated and perfect moments. She was very professional with how she listened to the elements that we wanted for the background. Since my fiance and I came from the Philippines, we wanted photos that were unique with the beach and palm trees of California. She worked with the idea and found options for the shoot. She was also very mindful of the weather forecast and made the right decision to cancel when she knew it was going to rain on the date we initially chose. Rebecca did not only produce beautiful photos with her eye for detail and talent to blend light and nature, she captured our character as a couple. It is rare to find someone like that. Photographers can point and shoot but for someone who will be able to be at that exact moment and see the REAL you as a couple is priceless. We had great conversations during the shoot and it felt like we were out for a walk with a long time friend. I highly recommend Rebecca for her professionalism, punctuality, passion and heart.”

Symboll® Wedding Photo & Video

“We are so glad to have found Symboll to be our wedding photographer and videographer. We wanted unique photos and videos with a clean editing style that wouldn’t appear overly filtered, and Symboll checked every one of those boxes. We opted for the C2 package with RED videography, which was priced incredibly competitively considering the quality of work. Additionally, it came with up to 10 hours of coverage by default whereas most other vendors we looked at typically offered 8 hours. Working with them was a breeze. It started with messaging their client managers Christian and Attila who broke down their transparent and simple pricing structure. After payment, they sent a helpful questionnaire not only to help Symboll get to know us, but also allow us to narrow down what we wanted. They were always super quick to respond to our questions, and we never felt lost along the process. We were ultimately connected with Shant as our photographer and Misha as our videographer, and we were so lucky to have them on our wedding day. Both were incredibly professional, kind, and overall joys to work with. Importantly, our wedding happened to fall on a day with suboptimal weather (end of March 2024). It rained heavily for much of the day, and we had booked a largely outdoor venue (Rancho Las Lomas). Despite this, Shant and Misha were incredibly flexible to the wet conditions. These unique circumstances also highlighted the strength of Symboll’s creativity, as Shant and Misha took advantage of the storm to create some incredibly cinematic shots of us. We were so glad to have chosen Symboll when we saw our photos, since we are confident that few other photographers/videographers would have been able to leverage our unfavorable weather conditions like Shant and Misha did. Because of the weather, they were unable to use their drone to capture our day, but they provided us with a teaser reel video in addition to our feature film. Final photos came out beautifully and the short film came back in such a timely manner. We are so happy with the results!”

Simply Adri Photography

“Adri was our wedding photographer for our September 2023 wedding and we have nothing but amazing things to say about her! From the very first inquiry meeting to the engagement shoot, Adri has been such a pleasure to work with. Her easy going, fun, and sweet personality makes it so easy to pose in front of the lenses. My husband and I love the natural lighting style when it comes to our photos and that’s exactly what we got with Adri. Even her detail shots and B&W film leaves us in awe! On the wedding day, Adri and Stephen were amazing! They made posing for photos so easy and our family and wedding party loved them. Adri even had fun suggestions during our wedding party group shots. Adri was also very organized when it came to our family photos right after the ceremony. It made everything go by so smoothly! Also Adri is super quick with her photo turnaround time! For the wedding, we got our sneak peeks 2 days after. They’re so beautiful, I catch myself looking at them every night! We really enjoyed our time with them and will consider hiring Adri for other future family photo shoots!”
