We literally had everything planned in just one visit, and the entire experience was completely stress-free! On our wedding day, everything was absolutely breathtaking and exceeded every expectation I had. Chris and Jacqueline went above and beyond with the setup, making sure every detail was perfect and that my vision came to life beautifully. What truly stood out was how incredibly attentive, accommodating, and caring they were throughout the entire event. They took such wonderful care of us and our guests, and even after the celebration, they continued to go above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine dedication to making our day special meant so much to us. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, but Chris and Jacqueline are what truly make it exceptional. We received so many compliments, and I honestly couldn’t imagine having celebrated our wedding anywhere else. It took us 3 years to find the right venue, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! If you’re considering this venue for your wedding, BOOK IT! You will be in the absolute best hands. Thank you for making our wedding day more beautiful and memorable than we ever imagined!”

The Everly Event Space

Kansas City, MO
  • Up to 250 guests

  • Starts at $5,500

Born from a desire to elevate every celebration, The Everly was created by a mother-daughter team whose own journey through wedding planning uncovered a need for a different kind of event space. One more personal and unique. The mission was clear: to establish an environment where every event becomes an enduring memory.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has an intimate atmosphere

  • Bridal suite on site

Venue considerations

  • No in-house catering options
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists

“My husband and I hosted our wedding at The Everly last weekend and it was perfect! The space itself is gorgeous and hardly needed any decor. What sold us on The Everly was the clever use of curtains when they flip the room between the ceremony and reception. Our guests literally exclaimed when they opened the curtains after the flip. We had a couple over 100 people at the wedding and the way it was organized had it feeling intimate, but with a dance floor that had enough space to move around. My bridesmaids and I got ready at The Everly and it's a beautiful space. There's a curtain behind the doors for privacy and to preserve your grand entrance photos. I coordinated my wedding from the east coast and highly recommend the day of coordination! Ana was excellent, transparent, gave us good recommendations, and was running around behind the scenes so my Project Manager self didn't have to. She also coordinated with my vendors to track arrival times-- the week(s) before is hectic enough. Day-of coordination meant that we didn't have to pick up ourselves and everything was packed and ready immediately the following morning. Everyone says that something WILL go wrong on your wedding day (I forgot my jewelry at the hotel). If there was something else that went wrong, I'm still unaware of it a week later since it was managed behind the scenes and without my involvement. I had complete peace of mind and that's worth everything!”

“The Midland is hands down one of the best venues we have worked with from a vendor perspective! First and most importantly, the staff is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Our experience first started out with Kayla. Kayla is the Event Operations Manager at The Midland, of which her title should be “The Jack Of All Trades, Event Mastermind”. Kayla is the most kind, knowledgable, helpful, and organized person you will every meet! She had all of the information when I needed it and had very quick replies to any emails or questions that arose through the planning process. Kayla knew the entire venue inside and out and was incredibly helpful not only during the planning process, but during the wedding as well! The venue itself is absolutely stunning! Welcome to Fort Osage Christmas Tree Farm and Wedding Venue. Nestled within an enchanted evergreen forest on the bluffs of the Missouri River, a place of ethereal beauty, we offer a wedding experience that feels as if you have left the rest of the world behind. Witness the wonder that is “Celestial Glow Chapel”, our outdoor ceremony space, as beautiful as it is spellbinding. The Chapel’s open air design, defined only by the edges of the forest and the sky above, is a glorious and mystical cathedral of nature. Standing in marvelous contrast to the rustic tapestry of evergreen forest is the elegant refinement of White Pine Lodge. The Lodge is an intimate and warm retreat for a reception that pairs perfectly with the magic and drama outside. Fort Osage Christmas Trees & Weddings is more than just a venue; it is a sanctuary of wilderness & romance. Here dreams are transformed into reality & love becomes evergreen.

“Our daughter Alexis and new son in law Jayson got married at the Tree Farm on what we believe the literal hottest day of August ever!!! The initial tour gave us opportunity to see the whole grounds. Nick told us during this time how he would be our day of coordinator but could also be available for DJ if we wanted. He went over all the different parts of what the faculty offers such as the initial package, add ons, and day of expectations. When we chose to use this place he walked us through contract questions and we asked many questions. He wanted it to be clear we knew he was the wedding contact and Kim his mom only handled the payments. After we booked the months went quickly but he was always available when we had questions and worked regularly with the couple to finalize plans and support them as needed. He was flexible when we had to change meeting dates, set rehearsal times and make a few changes to the days schedule. He provided many helpful suggestions they used as well. The day of the wedding Nick was AMAZING!! He continued to check on the full wedding party and our guests through the day to make sure we had water, supplies and anything he could assist with. The property was a perfect backdrop for our daughter’s special day!! While the weather was out of everyone’s control and literally tried to bake us all during the ceremony LOL Nick made sure to let us know if guests needed they could use the Lodge for air until the ceremony began. He was able to help us direct our caterers and photographer for set up, and preparing for their time with us. Our photographer even got a few shots with him and the wedding couple to remember the day!! We HIGHLY recommend that if you are looking for an outdoor space with a forest feel this IS the place for it! Budget friendly but they also have options on what you need. Nick and family was always checking in, quick to response and helpful when we needed so don’t hesitate to ask ALL THE QUESTIONS. He was willing to answer all of them over and over sometime. Schedule the tour - you won’t regret it !!”

“As a wedding vendor who has seen it all, I have to say that The Rumely Historic Event Space stands out as a truly unique and special venue. Their communication was always quick and solution-focused, which made planning our event a breeze. The quality of their work and the value they provide is unmatched - the vintage, historic feel of the space is simply original. For example, we were able to hand-deliver a high-end wedding dress to this location for one of our clients. I love that this venue offers something different from the typical wedding scene, and I know they've even hosted events for the KC Chiefs, which is an added bonus for sports fans. Overall, I highly recommend The Rumely Historic Event Space to any couple looking to make their wedding day truly one-of-a-kind.”

“We had such an amazing wedding at The Oliver Building. Having the venue for the whole weekend made our weekend run so smoothly. We had our rehearsal Friday night, and brought everything over so we didn’t need to deal with it Saturday. Then got ready in the amazing upstairs suites Saturday morning. We had a great time, and Caitlin was so easy to work with! The only reason I took a star off is that we had some issues with the bar. We made it clear from the start that we wanted to prioritize the bar, and didn’t want long lines. Because of that, they said we would have 3 bartenders, and would batch some of our signature cocktails. Unfortunately, we only had two bartenders, despite giving tips for 3, and there were no cocktails batched. We did have a pretty long line at our bar most of the night because of this. All in all, it was an amazing venue for our wedding!!”
