We honestly don’t even know where to begin because our experience with this venue was truly unforgettable. From our rehearsal dinner at their chophouse location to our wedding at Flintrock Falls, every single moment felt supported, seamless, and so genuinely cared for. From the very beginning, everyone we worked with was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They walked us through every step of the planning process and made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and exciting instead. We truly felt like we were in the best hands the entire time. The grounds were also absolutely beautiful and so well-maintained—it truly added to the magic of the day. You can even see in some of the images how perfectly kept and picturesque everything was, which made such a difference in the overall atmosphere. So many details were thoughtfully included with the venue—tables and seating, linens, a dance floor, and beautiful real plateware, flatware, and glassware—which made everything feel elevated and effortless. Their team also handled both setup and breakdown for our wedding, which was something we will forever be grateful for. That level of care meant everything to us. Because of them, our families didn’t have to worry about staying late to clean up or handle logistics—we were all able to simply stay together, soak in every moment, and keep celebrating the happiest day of our lives. My husband and I searched high and low for the perfect wedding venue, and this property exceeded every expectation. We knew we wanted a small, intimate wedding, but we still wanted it to feel beautiful, special, and intentional. Even though we only had 12 guests, the property is spacious enough to accommodate much larger celebrations. There are actually two homes on the property and accommodations for bridal parties up to 28 guests, making it ideal for wedding weekends and family gatherings. This property would also be great for a much larger wedding because the property is HUGE. Plenty of room to bring in tents, tables, and decor. We turned our wedding into an entire weekend experience, starting with a welcome pool party and BBQ for our guests. The property has everything you could need, including an incredible bridal suite, a stunning permanent wedding arch, and large gathering tables perfect for hosting meals and celebrations. The younger crowd loved being able to continue the festivities in the game room after the parents called it a night. We spent hours singing karaoke, playing poker, and enjoying all the games available. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Every area was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The wedding arch created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and the scenery was simply unforgettable. As if the day wasn’t magical enough, we were treated to gorgeous pink skies and even two rainbows on our wedding day. The host was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process, and having a property manager on-site gave us extra peace of mind knowing any needs would be handled quickly. Everything about our experience was exceptional. From the accommodations and amenities to the beauty of the property and the outstanding hospitality, every detail helped make our wedding weekend unforgettable. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough.

Our wedding at Vintage Villas Hotel & Events was absolutely perfect. The event center had so much space and looked stunning, and the ceremony gazebo felt like something straight out of a fairytale. Samantha, the sales rep, really listened to what we wanted and helped us find the right package for our budget. The whole team was responsive and made sure every detail came together smoothly. One thing to know going in is that they work more like a venue planner than a full-service coordinator, so you'll be involved in a lot of the planning yourself—we're type A people, and it still felt like a lot, so if you're not super organized, definitely hire a separate planner. That said, they're totally upfront about what to expect, and we loved how much control we had over our day. The hotel made it super easy for our guests driving in to stay, and it helped extend the weekend of love and joy with our favorite people.

The planning process was a little difficult, communication was often delayed and made us a little anxious but once all the details were worked out the event went really well. The food, drinks and the environment were amazing! I would definitely recommend.

Amazing wedding venue with options for all weather & gorg photo ops. They’ve thought of everything! We used the chapel (added drapery to avoid backlit photos) for ceremony. It ended up being a little too hot for both ceremony and cocktail hour and everybody said they couldn’t believe chapel that was our plan B and looking back i’m so glad we did it! Cocktail hour outside was perfect and reception was a blast. Def get a partial planner since it’s not an all inclusive venue - you / your planner do need to set up catering, rentals, floral, and other decor vendors so having a partial planner (Cassie -Heavenly Day) helped make our planning and wedding weekend amazing. Make sure your planner and photog has worked at Ma Maison before so they know all the layouts/best photo spots! Loved that Ma Maison sent payment reminders and accepted online payment. Their in house rentals for dance floor, uplighting, cross, and stage made those rentals super easy! Had so much fun climbing bell tower and ringing bell to bring guests inside for din/dancing. Karen (owner) thought thru all the big moments and made sure a grand entrance / door / walk way for all of them! Made the day so fun and special. We added some white drapery, white tablecloths, white stage covers, and white dance floor to brighten up reception space and thought made a huge diff! Looked way less rustic and more bright ballroom. Only minor note on venue - Our wedding was end of october and grass was still a pretty dry from summer. Would be nice if Ma Maison watered the grass a bit more to keep more green during hot season. Ultimately that had zero impact on our amazing weekend /experience but if you’re booking a wedding during aug - oct know that it may be drier grass.

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about The Allegro. From the second we toured, we were blown away by the views and property. It feels tucked away and private, which made our wedding day feel so exclusive and intimate, even with a full guest list. The onsite cottages were a game changer as well. Being able to get ready right there and not have to worry about transportation or timing stress made the whole day feel relaxed and smooth. Our bridal party loved it. One of my favorite parts was the free in-house decor catalog. It saved us so much money and time not having to rent a million little things from different vendors. They have so many beautiful options and it honestly elevated the entire look of our wedding. And Riley… truly the MVP. She was so accommodating, calm, and helpful throughout the entire process. No question was too small, and she made everything feel easy and organized. You can tell she genuinely cares. If you’re even considering The Allegro — book the tour. It’s one of those venues that somehow looks even better in person.

I truly cannot thank nor speak highly enough about Hunter, Jena, and the entire Terrace Club team. I recently got married at the Terrace Club on 10/26/2024 and it was the absolute best day of my life. It would not have been possible without Hunter and Jena helping me along the way. They made sure every detail of my day was beyond perfected and that everyone in attendance was having the absolute best time. When I signed with this venue, from that day on, they were there to answer any of my questions, help me book with vendors, and made sure everything was taken care of. Hunter was so gracious to let me tour the venue several times for family that traveled in, made sure we had everything we needed on the day of, and constantly made the process exciting. Jena was absolutely incredible at implementing every detail of my day. She let me move the bar to change the venue layout, she helped me surprise my husband with beer burros, she made sure my bridal party was ready for the ceremony, and she made sure all night me and my husband didn’t need or want for a thing. The inclusive package at the terrace club made planning a breeze not having to need table clothes, centerpieces, candles, and more. The catering company they use made the most amazing meal for our wedding to the point I still receive compliments on how amazing Gourmet Gals food was. I highly recommend getting married at the Terrace Club. I have received so many compliments on the property. It overlooks the Texas sunset which you won’t get anywhere else. There was not one thing I would change about my wedding day and I owe that all to Hunter, Jena, and the Terrace Club team. They will always hold a special place in my heart for all they did on my big day. This venue is by far the best place to get married. Many of my friends have not had the experience I had planning a wedding and I know that’s because of the Terrace Club. If you are looking for the perfect venue that has a perfect view, amazing greenery, and the most amazing reception space this is the place. And the best part of getting married here is getting to work with the best coordinator Jena, the owner Hunter, and all of the staff at The Terrace Club. I cannot express how much love we have for this place and how perfect our day was. They are the BEST and we cannot thank them enough!

Not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff really are the stars of this review. Kim, the venue coordinator was amazing to work with! She was accommodating, available, and such a fun personality to be around. The bar staff that we had serve during our wedding were amazing as well! They were quick and kept the guests moving quickly. Everyone raved about the wedding and how beautiful the venue was. I was scared I wasn’t going to make the venue very wedding like since it’s a distillery, but the space was gorgeous on its own and as a minimalist bride, I was able to include some touches that just made the whole venue stand out. Oh! And the drinks were AMAZING! Kim even went above and beyond by naming some of their drinks to match our names.

About wedding venues in Lakeway, TX

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding. For a typical 150-guest celebration your budget will likely break down this way: - Florists: $6,755 (15%) - Venue: $6,932 (16%) - Catering: $5,546 (12%) - Bar services: $4,437 (10%) - Photographers: $3,966 (9%) - Videographers: $3,555 (8%) - Planners: $3,768 (8%) - Bands & DJs: $1,299 (3%) - Cakes & desserts: $853 (2%) - Hair & makeup: $495 (1%)
