We're a BYO venue with additional service and vendor options for a more inclusive experience. Morris Arboretum gives you private access to 92 breathtaking acres situated in the historic Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. You have a choice of seven charming ceremony sites, a delightful open-air cocktail hour, and tented dinner + dancing under the glow of café string lights in the tent. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6 to 11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). You have 3 hours with a golf cart + driver to escort you throughout the lush grounds for wedding photographs. Morris Arboretum offers 6 caterers for you to choose from (this is contracted separately, not included in our rental fee). The newest Terrain location, Terrain Gardens at DelVal, is situated on the campus of Delaware Valley University, granted with a historic charm that allows for a uniquely memorable experience. Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is a 134-acre nature preserve, botanical garden, and accredited museum. Today, the preserve contains over 700 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, ponds and Pidcock Creek, with about 4.5 miles of walking trails. It is an excellent site for bird-watching. The preserve was established in 1934 within the Washington Crossing Historic Park at the site where George Washington‘s army camped during the American Revolutionary War. Just five miles south of the preserve, Washington and his men crossed the Delaware River to fight and win the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

Stone Park Cafe, which opened in September 2004, was the longtime dream of owners Josh Foster and Josh Grinker, childhood friends who grew up in Park Slope. In 2011, the pizzeria located right next door to Stone Park Cafe’s kitchen on the 3rd Street side of the restaurant became available, and Josh Foster jumped at the chance to develop a private party venue to operate alongside the restaurant. Working with Chef Josh Grinker, Events at Stone Park offers the same cuisine and ambiance as Stone Park Cafe in a private setting unique in Brooklyn.
