We were able to give them our vision based on a lot of our ideas from Pinterest, and Carolyn and her team went above and beyond to bring it to life. She brought in gorgeous strands of crystals, fabrics, and—of course—florals to decorate the pergola on the property. The transformation was incredible! They also helped inside for the reception with our centerpieces and other unique pieces for the buffet, bar, cake table, and more. Carolyn was able to source linens and other items we needed to take our vision to the next level. I was very impressed with the suggestions from Carolyn on how to make other elements of the reception better—bringing in Comfy Cow ice cream, DJ recommendations, and more. It's clear that Carolyn's experience in the industry is a huge asset to the clients of Lavender Hill. Overall, the value for the level of service we got simply exceeded all of our expectations. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!”

We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
