GarrenTee Photography
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Killington, VT
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

Garren Poirier is the name and I CAN'T say I've been into photography since my dad gave me a camera back in 1982. I started getting interested in photography in 2004 after I bought my first camera for a trip across the pacific to Indonesia. From that point I was obsessed with taking pictures. I immersed myself in learning about photography through books, the internet and trial and error. My true passion in the beginning was landscape which I believed helped me with other aspects of photography, I love finding new ways to look at the world.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the pleasure of working with Garren at Reading Farms Estate during Agatha and Bartek’s wedding day, and we had such an incredible experience with him and his team. Garren is not only fun and creative, he’s truly passionate about what he does, and couples immediately connect with his energy. He has an incredible ability to stay focused while adapting seamlessly to every moment, ensuring that every small and significant detail is captured with intention. His photography style goes far beyond creating images; it’s art. The way he plays with dark and light contrasts while highlighting the soft shimmer of colors is both beautiful and unmistakably his own. We highly recommend Garren’s artistic expertise and cannot wait to create more beauty together here at our beloved estate. Thank you for all the memories.

Liesel and her team were amazing from the initial contact. Liesel is easy to communicate with very timely. For our wedding day hair and makeup we had Liesel and Elle(I apologize if I am wrong about the assistant). Both were respectful, aware of time, caring and honestly made the whole experience much better. If you are looking to work with a caring and kind stylist that can provide amazing hair and makeup looks for all hair types TVB is your team. I have thick frizzy hair and problem skin, Liesel attentively took note of these concerns during my trial. My trial hair and makeup withheld through a nap and my bridal hair and makeup withheld the whole day, event, and after party. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life and that is everything you can imagine on your wedding day. Thank you Liesel and team!

I cannot believe we were ever considering not having a videographer after the amazing experience and video we got with Amanda at EightZero2. From the beginning, Amanda was super responsive and open with her thoughts on what would work best for our day (drone footage, raw footage, etc.). The day of, her process was so smooth and seamless - we felt so comfortable around her and she vibed PERFECTLY with our photo team. She got our preview video out to us before we even landed for our honeymoon, and delivered absolutely amazing results. The drone footage added the absolute coolest panoramics, and the editing was perfect (she even reached out to ask if we wanted anything changed after the fact). Would (and already have) highly recommend Amanda to anyone getting married. You will not regret it!

The flowers ended up being the most complimented part of the entire weekend - we seriously heard it so much that we had the most beautiful flowers! And it was true!! We had our September 2024 wedding at FF and let me tell you, this place and these owners are special. Farmhouse Flowers was the first and only venue we looked at. From the beginning, Thomas (co-owner) was so patient with all of our questions. We immediately got the sense that he cared about us and our event. He even gave us suggestions for how we should word certain things when speaking to different venues! Working with the FF team in the months leading up to your wedding is stress free. They get everything organized and set up for your event far in advance and are so easy to work with. They are flexible and are willing to do anything they can to make your event perfect. In the week leading up to our event, Bridget (co-owner) went into labor and had a baby. She was literally at the venue the NEXT DAY setting up flowers to make sure our event was on track. They showed no signs of stress and just continued to blow us away. The day before our wedding, Thomas was at the property assisting us with anything and everything. The only word I can use to describe our wedding day is perfect. The entire property comes together to create such a beautiful environment for the wedding party and the guests. The house on the property is perfect for getting ready or for providing lodgings for vendors. The ceremony spot is STUNNING, it overlooks fields of beautiful flowers, the barn, and beautiful Vermont landscapes. Our reception was such a hit. There are so many things for guests to do throughout the day. They can play with cutie animals, sit by the pond, enjoy the firepit, stroll through the garden, play cornhole, or dance the night away. If you are looking for a rustic New England vibe wedding, look no further. This venue and the owners will make your wedding day absolutely unforgettable.

Corinne photographed our September 2024 wedding and we are so incredibly happy we chose her!!! From the beginning, working with her felt so personal. She took the time to get to know us, our vision, and our story. She was incredibly helpful in crafting a timeline for the wedding day, and we were able to pull off a very ambitious/adventurous first look, and still get all the other pictures we wanted! She figured out so many little details for us, and was so thoughtful in the sentimental shots and items she included. She is an excellent guide with posing, a great person to have by your side to fix jewelry, hair, or your veil (about 15 times in my case), all while staying calm, cool and collected. She found opportunities to grab photos I'd have never thought of, and is more than happy to find beautiful ways to make your ideas happen!! She did so much work behind the scenes making sure every detail was recorded, which meant so much to us. All the decorations around the reception, the ceremony site, and more are beautifully photographed so we can go back and remember them. Also, she gave us a great mix of posed, formal photos, and candid, in the moment photos. Our gallery feels so authentic and she really captured the feel and the joy of the day!!! I absolutely loved having an engagement session included in the packaged. She was down for an adventure, and we got to get photos in a place that was very special to us! It also gave us a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, and develop a relationship with her, so when the wedding day came along, we weren't worried about meeting someone new or figuring out posing on our own.

The Tillerman has a whimsical, cozy, and quaint feel that you can't understand until you've been there. My husband and I had a date night at the Tillerman before deciding to make it our wedding venue for our 30-person wedding. Our wedding day was MAGICAL and we never wanted to leave the Inn. Our wedding day was rainy, but Mackenzie and her team made sure we got our outdoor "I do's" before taking cover in the barn for the rest of the evening. Mackenzie was such a breeze to communicate with leading up to the day and on the day. I am so grateful to have had her involved. I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding.

20/10 recommend getting married on the Mountain Top! The venue in and of itself is a DREAM. The staff and servers went above and beyond. Shout out to the events coordinator manager, Danny, who quite literally was always smiling and checking in on us our entire wedding weekend. My husband and I live out in Seattle, but we’re both from Massachusetts. We wanted somewhere in New England that has that rugged mountain landscape, but also somewhere everyone could join us for the whole weekend. I’m so obsessed with it here, can’t WAIT to come back! We used Meadows Edge Florals for our flowers/decorations, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Gayle and her team. We used Juniper Studios for photography and Angela and Idena’s talents are something I can’t even put into words. Best decisions I’ve ever made.

Sugarbush is a beautiful venue with mountain views and space to accommodate all your wedding events. We kicked off the weekend with a golf outing at Sugarbush Resort Golf Club followed by our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Castlerock Pub. Our ceremony was at the bottom of the mountain, but we were able to do our first look and couple photos at the top. Emma and the entire Sugarbush team was amazing! From the attention to detail our wedding coordinator helped with to the timeline and overall service, we were extremely impressed with the weekend. It was so special having all our family and friends stay at Clay Brook Hotel, which made all the wedding events easy for guests to get to. The hotel was spacious and the staff was welcoming and accommodating to our guests needs. Our wedding weekend was better than we could have ever imagined!

From the start Jen was very easy to work with, letting us tour the venue multiple times and always responding promptly to emails or texts before, during, and after the wedding. When a storm came through the night before our wedding, Jen went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We loved the ability for us and our guests to stay on property all weekend, which allowed us ample time to decorate, set up, and enjoy time with family and friends. The venue and property are so naturally beautiful and there are a million ways to make it your own. We had guests travel from near and far and all told us what a special spot we had picked. When I first started wedding photography, I made a goal of being more than just the photographer on your big day. I made it my goal to be your friend, someone you can crack inside jokes with, and someone who isn't afraid to get down + have fun at the reception (while still doing her job). I made it my goal to capture more than just photos, but an experience. Whether it’s high in the mountains, on a beach near the ocean, in a forest meadow - you deserve to get married however you want to & I want to capture it for you.

From the moment we started planning our wedding, Lexi from Hazel & Spice Photography was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns. She takes her job seriously and goes above and beyond to capture the shots that any bride dreams of having. On the day of our wedding, she showed up early and helped our bartender set up the last-minute charcuterie cups while I was finishing my hair—that's just who she is. Lexi wasn't just our photographer; she became a friend to us. Her work is incredible and her dedication to making our day special really stood out. We can't recommend her enough. And the results of her work, our photos from our special day turned out breath taking! Chose Lexi you will never be disappointed!

Hey there! I’m Rachel, founder and principal planner at RVE, and I’m not your average wedding planner. I launched my planning company in 2022 from the mountains of Vermont, after years in the wedding industry learning, growing, and honing my craft. Around here, we do things a little differently. I believe wedding planning should feel like a celebration, not a stress test—and that’s where my signature style of laid-back luxury comes in!

Wow, I would recommend Rachel 10 times over! Everyone at the wedding was so impressed by her professionalism and beautiful design work. She and her assistant worked tirelessly to help coordinate and have everything run smoothly. I am still in absolute awe of how beautifully everything came together! A lot of my decor was more DIY, and Rachel made everything look even better than I could have ever hoped! Her taste and attention to details shined through in every way, and myself and my spouse didn't have to worry about a thing on our day!! If you're thinking about it, book her!!

Emslie the Florist & Gifts made our wedding day bloom in ways we couldn't have imagined. From our first conversation, their communication was clear and easy to work with, and they listened closely to what we wanted while bringing their own artistic touch to make everything even prettier. What impressed us most was their flexibility—they genuinely wanted to bring our vision to life without compromising their talent. On the day of our wedding, they had three deliveries to manage, but you'd never know it from how calm and kind they were when they arrived right on time. Every detail was perfect, and their hard work made our flowers absolutely stunning. We're so grateful to Emslie the Florist & Gifts for being such an important part of our special day!

Cassie & Chelsea have been in the wedding industry for a combined 25+ years and know the ins and outs of all things weddings! We have worked to build long lasting and strong vendor relationships to ensure seamless and flawless events.

I cannot say enough good things about Wild Fern! Cassie and Chelsea bring decades of wedding planning experience and it shows! Everything they do is filled with intention - from the fact that they only take on two weddings a month, to how they divide tasks on wedding day, to the cadence of check-ins during the planning process. I hired Wild Fern to help me with the last three months of planning through our wedding weekend, and Cassie was there to support not only with logistics and vendor meetings, but also with the stress of it all. She anticipated my needs and questions before I could even ask them. I truly don't know if I could have kept my head while crossing the finish line if it weren't for Cassie. Everyone kept commenting how calm I was as a bride on our wedding day, and it was truly because I trusted Cassie and Chelsea and knew they would execute my vision to a T. If you're looking for a high-touch, well-organized planning team with strong vendor relationships, look no further than Wild Fern. As a bonus, they also have a sister business, Wild Fern Rentals, and offer some really stunning statement rentals that will transform your space. I've said to multiple people that hiring them was the best wedding-related purchase I made, and not only did we have a beautiful wedding weekend, but we gained Cassie as a friend for life.

Vermont Bridal Beauty
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Beauty professional
  • Starts at $1,250
  • Serves Killington, VT

Bridal hair and makeup is a specialized skill - it needs to withstand many hours of happy tears, hugs, dancing, and, of course, dinner and drinks. With over a decade of experience in bridal beauty, Amanda has perfected how to create timeless looks that photograph beautifully and look incredible in person. Her passion for hair and makeup dates back to childhood Barbie spa days. After becoming a licensed cosmetologist everything began to come together when she began to do bridal work. Her love for hair and makeup connected seamlessly and she now focuses her energy in the beauty realm solely on bridal beauty.

Do not hesitate to book Vermont Bridal Beauty if you can!!! I can't say enough great things about their professionalism and artistry. I had Rachael do my wedding hair along with my mom's and 5 bridesmaids. Since I don't live in the area, I skipped the trial, but Rachael FaceTimed me a few weeks beforehand to get to know me and my vision for the day - she even asked about my wedding vibes and what my dress looked like to advise on cohesiveness! I was a little worried about the length of my hair fitting my original vision since I had just gotten it cut, and she sent me a link to inexpensive but high quality extensions to buy, which worked out beautifully, just as she'd promised! Morning of, Rachael arrive promptly and was SO attentive to everyone. She would check in with each girl as she did their hair and made sure everyone was happy with what she was doing, listened to feedback and made changes, and everyone looked and felt so beautiful! My hair (first photo) came out exactly how I pictured and described, but better yet it looked just as good by the end of the night (second photo), and my wedding lasted until 2am with a LOT of dancing and sweat! She also just had such a calming energy which helped keep any nerves at bay. This part is probably won't be applicable to most brides, but I feel is worth mentioning to highlight their professionalism, but one of my bridesmaids was sick the morning of the wedding and opted to sleep in instead of getting hair and makeup done. Rachael immediately told me she would refund me her portion, which she definitely wasn't obligated to since I had booked and signed a contract for a certain amount of services. Bottom line, if you're reading this and thinking about booking with them, do it!!!

I am so happy we found Ben with WB Weddings. Ben is an experienced, capable, and kind videographer who genuinely cares for his couples, works incredibly hard, and creates beautiful and cinematic wedding films. When I interviewed different videographers for our wedding in spring 2025, Ben stood out to me as someone who had genuine passion for making outstanding wedding videos. His trustworthiness, commitment, and generosity were evident from our first call, and continued to hold true throughout the process. Our wedding day was long and complex, with multiple cultural ceremonies and events. Ben was eager to learn about our cultures and how best to shoot it. I appreciate that, in the lead up to our wedding day, Ben was one of the only vendors to proactively reach out to plan and organize. We aligned on a plan, with clear directions on what parts of our events were must-haves to be filmed, where each event would take place, and key people to focus on. Going into wedding day, we felt confident with Ben and his team taking care of video. On the wedding day itself, Ben and his assistant showed up early, which I greatly respected. He was adept at being close enough to film, without interrupting guests' views or getting in the way of the ceremony participants. He was also a kind presence throughout the day, and I appreciated his positive energy. After the wedding day, Ben was hard at work putting together our videos. I appreciate that Ben's way of working allows for us to request songs, view drafts, and provide small pieces of feedback to incorporate in the final videos. He shared our first video within the expected time frame, and we were blown away by it! The artistry, the drone shots, the slow-mo, the storytelling of it all were far and above our expectations. We had an extensive list of videos for Ben to put together, and we were very impressed by Ben's skill and hard work in creating all of them. He was communicative with timelines, always responsive to our questions, and generous with incorporating our feedback. Sharing our final videos with friends and family has been so rewarding, and we are grateful to have all of these videos to look back on in the years to come. Our wedding day was such a special moment in time, and I am glad we decided to secure videography. I am even more grateful we found Ben with WB Weddings. I highly recommend Ben for his skill, his professionalism, his care for couples, his strong work ethic, and his passion for the craft of videography. We greatly enjoyed working with Ben and would choose WB Weddings again for any future videography needs. Thank you so much, Ben!!

  • Florist
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Killington, VT

Christina is a local Vermonter who’s crafted wedding flowers for over 25 years. In 2015, Christina and her friend Cindy took the leap and started their own wedding floral business, A Blooming Affair. Since then, Christina and Cindy have been flowering all over New England and upstate New York. Some of Christina's most memorable weddings have been at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge, Mad River Barn, Smugglers Notch, Barn at Smuggs, Maquam Barn, Basin Harbor and Private Estates.

We absolutely loved working with Christina! From our first call, I was so excited to work with her. She is so talented and gave us the autumn wedding florals of our dreams! She is incredibly patient, clever, and so much fun to work with. Christina was extremely open-minded to my very detailed vision board. She created the most stunning floral arrangements on our wedding day - Christina nailed everything behind my wildest expectations. One of our guests said “it’s like your entire Canva board has come to life!” Six months later, our guests are still raving about our gorgeous ceremony florals and magical head table. Christina is simply so talented and wonderful - I miss working with her so much!
