Bridal hair and makeup is a specialized skill - it needs to withstand many hours of happy tears, hugs, dancing, and, of course, dinner and drinks. With over a decade of experience in bridal beauty, Amanda has perfected how to create timeless looks that photograph beautifully and look incredible in person. Her passion for hair and makeup dates back to childhood Barbie spa days. After becoming a licensed cosmetologist everything began to come together when she began to do bridal work. Her love for hair and makeup connected seamlessly and she now focuses her energy in the beauty realm solely on bridal beauty.

Amanda has received several hair and makeup certifications including bridal airbrush application. With her knowledge of traditional and airbrush makeup she is able to find the technique and application that best suites each individual's skin. I am one of the last vendors a bride works with before walking down the aisle and part of my job is to give the bride the confidence in knowing they can close their eyes, relax, and enjoy those last moments while I help their wedding day vision come to life.

Do not hesitate to book Vermont Bridal Beauty if you can!!! I can't say enough great things about their professionalism and artistry. I had Rachael do my wedding hair along with my mom's and 5 bridesmaids. Since I don't live in the area, I skipped the trial, but Rachael FaceTimed me a few weeks beforehand to get to know me and my vision for the day - she even asked about my wedding vibes and what my dress looked like to advise on cohesiveness! I was a little worried about the length of my hair fitting my original vision since I had just gotten it cut, and she sent me a link to inexpensive but high quality extensions to buy, which worked out beautifully, just as she'd promised! Morning of, Rachael arrive promptly and was SO attentive to everyone. She would check in with each girl as she did their hair and made sure everyone was happy with what she was doing, listened to feedback and made changes, and everyone looked and felt so beautiful! My hair (first photo) came out exactly how I pictured and described, but better yet it looked just as good by the end of the night (second photo), and my wedding lasted until 2am with a LOT of dancing and sweat! She also just had such a calming energy which helped keep any nerves at bay. This part is probably won't be applicable to most brides, but I feel is worth mentioning to highlight their professionalism, but one of my bridesmaids was sick the morning of the wedding and opted to sleep in instead of getting hair and makeup done. Rachael immediately told me she would refund me her portion, which she definitely wasn't obligated to since I had booked and signed a contract for a certain amount of services. Bottom line, if you're reading this and thinking about booking with them, do it!!!

You cannot ask for a better team than Amanda and Rachael at VBB. They are fantastic at the artistic aspects of their job and were easily able to tailor their work to friends and family with different styles. Beyond their creativity, they are exactly the kind of people you want hanging out with you on the morning of your wedding. From my trial session through the day of my wedding, they were with me every step of the way, exuding warmth and positivity. 1000000/10 Recommend!

VBB was truly EVERYTHING I could have hoped for and more. They are artists in every sense of the word. From start to finish of working with Amanda and Hilary every single person felt confident, calm, and taken care of - not to mention BEAUTIFUL! They 100% accomplished the look and feel I was going for: elevated yet natural and, most importantly, like myself. Not only was their hair and make up absolute perfection for every single person, but their energy in the room that morning was so relaxed and easy to be around. They were also such great sports with any feedback / touch-ups / adjustments that came up at the trial throughout the wedding day. Could not recommend them more!!! THANK YOU Amanda and Hilary!!!!

I had the most wonderful experience working with the VBB Team. As an "out of town" bride I was a bit nervous about coordinating HMU services from afar, but the VBB Team had the most comprehensive and efficient end-to-end process. From the initial quote and communication, to our in-person trial (cannot overstate how important and helpful this was), to our wedding day - the execution was absolutely flawless! Amanda, Hilary & Brittni were prepared, on-time, and incredibly professional. They did HMU for 7 of us (including the bride and two moms who were both a little nervous about getting their hair and makeup done professionally) and WOW did they deliver. Everyone looked so beautiful, and most importantly (to me) - we all FELT beautiful and pampered. The team was so fun, thoughtful, kind and willing to make little tweaks and changes to accomodate each of our visions. 10/10! Thank you, VBB!
