Owner Gina Omalanz stepped onto the catering scene with the goal to create a fresh new take on catering that provided delicious, restaurant quality food and service. Friends and family worked together to remodel a kitchen on the downtown Port Orchard Waterfront, and you can still find us there today! “Essence of the Thymes really went the distance to make my wife and I's wedding a great experience. They catered (pun intended!) to our needs from the food itself and our dietary needs right down to how the serving ware and other dishes looked. Since we did a book-themed wedding, they decided, without us having to ask, to incorporate their own cookbooks into the overall display which really helped add that extra touch. Communication throughout the process was always clear and pleasant, and the staff at the event were amazing. 11/10 would recommend.”

They even went above and beyond, fulling all of our special requests. Our planner complimented that Twist was easy to work with, and loads of our guest's shared how much they loved the food. Even when the venue's representative proved difficult to work with, Twist stayed professional all the way through. LGBTQ friendly”
