The Venue opened it's doors in May of 2017, and is located in one of the largest stand alone historical buildings in Bowling Green. This attractive, three story brick building is listed in the national registry of historic places and has a rich Bowling Green History dating back to 1914. The Venue is outfitted with original wood floors; heavy timber construction, and tall ceilings; some of the main features that make this building unique and one of a kind. Easy access to our almost 2,000 sf deck allows you to enjoy being outside with friends, weather permitting, but if not there is plenty of room for you and all of your guest indoors. Grab a cold drink from the pre-civil war bath tub built into the 32 foot wood-top bar. We have a spacious bridal suite with an attached bath and area for hair and makeup as well as a groom suite. The venue accommodates up to 95 guests per fire code, with a standard layout seating 70 comfortably. The main level features a distinguished 26-person head table, two restrooms (ADA-compliant with a baby changing station), and a welcoming lobby equipped with a 55-inch Smart TV—perfect for presentations, slideshows, or digital customizations to enhance your event. The upstairs loft level provides seating for 40 guests at five 60-inch round tables, all paired with elegant gold Chiavari chairs. Decorated in soft blues and whites, the space exudes a cozy yet elevated aesthetic, accented by subtle industrial elements that pay homage to the building’s history. A catering kitchen is available for prep and plating, complete with commercial sinks, stainless steel tables, and starter supplies to support caterers and hosts.

We are a new venue open less than a year. The building was a former Masonic lodge building. We totally remodeled it while trying to preserve some of the character. It has the original yellow pine flooring. Freshly painted walls. A small warming kitchen for renters or caterers to use. The restrooms are handicap accessible. The Haycraft is a stunning event space located in downtown Elizabethtown. The space offers an industrial look mixed with class and sophistication. The building was once a garage and is home to a beautiful antique car and gas pump. Romantic overheard garden lights and draping help to pull the look together. The building is a historical landmark for the City of New Albany, and was saved from destruction by the Bliss Family in 2000. The Bliss family’s vision in reviving this 1900’s building was to keep its historical integrity, while providing a practical, unique, and seamless flowing space for Weddings and Events.
