Ed Mays Groove Kitchen is a red hot Seattle based dance band made up of some of the Pacific Northwest’s finest entertainers. We specialize in classic R&B in the tradition of Aretha Franklin, Sade, Earth Wind & Fire, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, etc. But because of our extensive backgrounds our repertoire is actually quite broad and can include vocal & instrumental jazz, classic rock, blues , Latin, etc. We also play a lot of current hits. It helps to have something for everybody. However which way you like it, we’ve got the groove that is going to make you dance!

The Blue Waves are a premium, customizable 3 to 14 piece band specializing in high-energy music–at a sensible price. Our talented and professional musicians have performed regularly with touring and recording artists including Aretha Franklin, Prince, Sting, Fruit Bats, Santana, and Stevie Wonder, as well as working and touring with numerous Broadway shows.

We are a cover band with over 50 years of experience combined! We span multiple eras and genres. Primarily, we play 60s - 90s rock & pop, with a smattering of blues, soul, R&B, country, and funk. As long as we have a few weeks' notice, we're happy to take requests. We are a 5-piece band made up of two vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, and keys/synth, and we can come with a full sound and light setup, or we can plug in to whatever the venue has. Just let us know! There is a 2-hour minimum and a mileage fee of .70¢/mile for bookings farther than 20 miles from our 98103 zip code.

A subgroup of Boogie Boulevard called “Swing Street Jazz Ensemble,” a 1960’s style instrumental jazz quartet, can also be included at no extra charge. Raised in Olympia, WA, Jennifer discovered her passion for music early in life. As the daughter of a performing arts executive director and costume designer, her interest in the arts was encouraged. She began studying piano at age 5 and by age 12, she was accompanying local choirs and soloists. She has performed for events in Western Washington's top venues, including Four Seasons Hotel, Bastyr Chapel, Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Salish Lodge, Seattle Aquarium, Washington State Governor's Mansion, and many others. In addition, Jennifer is the Founder and Executive Director of Iovanne Music Academy.

I've had an extensive background performing at numerous events and venues throughout my career — including weddings, cocktail hours, restaurants, bars, and churches throughout the Pacific Northwest. I'm an active teacher, performer, accompanist and church musician and enjoy playing a variety of music styles including jazz, modern, blues, gospel, contemporary classical, and musical theater. I am classically trained and hold a degree in piano performance from the acclaimed Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio.

Trish sings lead, harmonies, plays keys/synths, bass, guitar and mandolin. T Giles has played guitar and bass in multiple bands since the late 70's, including Chaos, Bad Daddy and Steel Rose. Dan Snyder is one of the best kept secrets in the world of the elusive singing drummer. Dan is a former member of the Jet City Players and the original band, Stickerbush. Playing all genres of music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, Casual-T is excited to make your day special!
