“If you're looking for a wedding venue, just book the Hamilton Manor!! It's obviously stunning and spotless and the food is incredible (seriously, I cannot stress enough how good the food is), but the thing that takes it beyond is the staff. Everyone from the bartenders to the maitre d was so incredibly attentive--not just to us as the bride and groom but to every single one of our guests. Friends and family have reached out to say the food was delicious and the venue was gorgeous, but I'm still shocked by the number of people who have told us that they connected with someone on staff during the night. As a very Type A person, I went into the wedding planning process expecting to be overwhelmed, and from the minute we toured the Hamilton Manor, I was put at ease (thank you, Diana!). Our wedding day was totally stress free, and my husband and I are so grateful to everyone at the Hamilton Manor for making that possible. Weddings in NJ have gotten crazy expensive, but if you want the most for your money, this is where you need to get married!!”

“Megan, the director, is an absolutely dream to work with. quick responses, explains everything clearly, a sweetheart. Hotel is super clean, the food is amazing and the staff were lovely. The Maitre De went missing a lot throughout the day, to the point where my uncle had to find her whenever i needed. They set up & cleaned everything up for us which was lovely. the hotel bar stayed open late (sunday wedding) but you couldn’t make it private. so you had people at the bar trying to add to an open tab. you get a room block, the director of rooms Rebecca is very easy to work with as well. the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous!!! It’s an absolutely beautiful farm filled with sunflowers and wildflowers. We absolutely loved getting ready in the wonderful farm house estate right on the venue. Leading up to the wedding, Avery and the Johnson Locust Hall Farm family had great communication and were very accommodating. The day of the wedding, we literally had to worry about NOTHING. They took care of everything and they had everything planned out to a T. The cocktail hour was spectacular in the stone barn and the reception was amazing in the breezeway barn. We are SO over the moon to have gotten married here. We are so happy that we can also visit again during the fall and spring during their events & farm activities which makes it so special that we could see this gorgeous venue again. HIGHLY recommend.”

“Choosing the Park Chateau was the best decision we could have made! From the moment we showed interest in the venue, we could tell that their service is top notch. Devin the sales manager was so responsive via email and phone. Throughout the entire planning process, she and her team walked us through every step with so much organization and helpful tips, to make sure no detail was missed, and to make sure that we did not have to worry about anything on our wedding day. As soon as we arrived at the venue for our wedding day, we truly felt like royalty. The bridal suite is so spacious for our entire bridal party to get ready in and have fun. The bridal attendants were amazing and helped us get ready and set everything up for the photographer. We brought some personal things to display for our memory table, and jewelry/details for our getting ready photos, and we did not have to worry about setting it up at all. Their team did it all for us! One flower girl arrived with stains in her dress and the team managed to get all the stains out. The team made sure to contact all of our vendors to coordinate their arrivals, set up, and tips, so we did not have to worry about a thing on our big day. They truly made our entire wedding day stress free! The communication between the team members is phenomenal. They are aware of everything and make sure no detail gets missed. They made sure my husband and I had quality time together at our wedding so we can actually enjoy the moment, time with our guests, time to eat, and also time to dance. I hear so many people say they did not eat at their wedding, or they barely made it on the dancefloor. The PC staff makes sure you get it all on your wedding day. The bridal attendants made sure my dress was bustled, clean and spotless the entire night. They made sure we were comfortable, even providing us cold towels to cool off after a lot of dancing. They were always nearby with drinks and water throughout the night, making sure we had everything and anything we could need. Their team is one of the main things that stand out compared to all other venues, and I cannot even put into words how exceptional they are. They are kind, professional, and SO helpful. And of course the venue itself is BEAUTIFUL - from the grounds to the ballroom, to the hotel right nextdoor. Everything is perfectly clean, decorated, and manicured. Our guests have not stopped raving about how amazing the food and cocktail hour was, how beautiful the venue was, and how convenient it was to be able to walk next door to the hotel. Shout out to the best team - Devin, Oscar, Dawn, Ashley, Jeremiah, and Kerianne. I truly cannot explain how grateful we are to have had such an amazing team and the most incredible wedding day. I am still in awe of how perfect it was. The Park Chateau is worth every penny. Now we are hoping someone we know gets married here soon so we can experience it again as guests!”

“There truly are not enough words to describe how grateful we are to have chosen Shadowbrook for our wedding. The entire experience was beyond anything we could have imagined, and we would choose Shadowbrook a thousand times over. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, luxurious, elegant, and truly in a league of its own. Every detail is stunning, but what makes Shadowbrook so extraordinary is that the impeccable service and incredible team are just as exceptional as the venue itself. We have had so many guests tell us it was the nicest wedding and venue they had ever been to, and we could not be prouder of our decision to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives here. From the atmosphere to the service to the seamless execution of the entire day, everything exceeded our wildest expectations. A very special shoutout to Carl, our maître d, who was absolutely phenomenal. His professionalism, patience, attentiveness, and ability to handle everything with confidence and grace made such a difference. He ensured everything ran seamlessly and made us feel completely taken care of from beginning to end. Knowing we were in such capable hands allowed us to relax, be present, and truly enjoy every moment of our wedding day. We cannot thank him enough for everything he did to make our day so special. We also have to give the biggest thank-you to Ashley, our bridal attendant, who was an absolute rock star! She went above and beyond, made us feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout the day. Her thoughtfulness, kindness, and attentiveness were incredible, and she always seemed to be one step ahead. Ashley deserves all the recognition in the world, and we feel so fortunate to have had her by our side. It is clear that the team takes tremendous pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. Choosing Shadowbrook was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning, and we will recommend it to every engaged couple we know. We already cannot wait to return one day as guests! We've seen raving reviews about the food and drinks, and can confirm that their menu is the best of the best. Thank you, Shadowbrook, Mark, Troy, Carl, Ashley, and the entire team, for giving us a wedding day that exceeded our wildest dreams. We will cherish these memories forever and only wish we could do it all over again!”

“My wife and I got married in Princeton in August, and we hosted a dinner / welcome party at Ficus on a Friday evening. We cannot recommend it highly enough for an event! Every course of dinner was phenomenal, and it felt like we were getting 5-star quality food at a very reasonable price. The smoked salmon canapes, ratatouille, seabass, potato croquettes, desserts - all superb (and that's not even half of the things we ate!). The h'ors d'oeuvres were also delicious, and the service was extremely friendly - Quinta and the team were great to work with prior to the event as well. The space itself was perfect, with a good amount of room on the outdoor patio and plenty of space inside. (We had 80 people at the event). Perfect for folks who might be a little more COVID-cautious and prefer to eat outside. If you want to host an event in Princeton, Ficus is a great spot.”

“Choosing Chauncey Hotel as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. The venue is a hidden gem located in Princeton, NJ. It is nestled behind main roads, not far from the downtown but feels very secluded when onsite. We have many out of town relatives so being able to stay at the hotel and have everything onsite was very convenient and comfortable. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast in the morning which was a nice perk and convenient spot for everyone to gather. There is also a bar in the lobby which was the perfect space for reconnecting the night before our wedding and for our after party. The Laurie House is a charming historic home that offers a hotel-style stay. It was the perfect space for us and our bridal party to get ready, with a large space for hair/makeup, "getting ready" photos, and a boardroom for signing our marriage license after the ceremony. The surrounding property is beautiful and offered many areas for photos surrounded by trees and other natural scenery. The staff at Chauncey was kind, courteous, and attentive to our needs all weekend. Becki in particular went above and beyond as a wedding coordinator. She made herself available to meet in person and virtually before our wedding. Every interaction with Becki made us feel more ready and prepared for our big day! In the days leading up to the wedding, we were able to drop off decor for her ahead of time and she also led our rehearsal! Becki took the time to check in with us the day-of and looked after our family and bridal party to make sure they had everything they needed. Making sure we had our cues before walking down the aisle was so helpful. Our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without her!”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water.
