“We had the most incredible experience with Absolute DJ for our wedding. We built a fully customized package with them, choosing both the ceremony violinist and Sax n’ Tracks at the same time—and it was one of the best decisions we made. The violinist performed in the courtyard as guests arrived and then throughout our ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere. We worked closely with Jon to plan our reception, and he was wonderful from start to finish. He guided us through several planning calls and email conversations, helping us shape the flow of the night and curate the perfect music experience. For cocktail hour, we added Sax n’ Tracks, which was such a hit. And for the reception, we had the dream team: DJ Jon Colin on saxophone Johan on percussion Christian managing the AV system They brought the most fun, high‑energy vibe from the moment the reception started until the very last song. A music‑filled day and a packed dance floor were essential to us, and they delivered beyond anything we imagined. They worked off our proposed song list, read the room perfectly, and kept the energy high all night. We never left the dance floor. Our family and friends are still talking about how cool the DJ‑and‑live‑musicians fusion was. Jon brought so much charisma and energy as the MC—guiding speeches, dances, and transitions seamlessly while keeping everyone engaged. Colin and Johan added an incredible live‑music element that elevated the entire experience. And Christian ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes with flawless AV support. He constantly matched the vibe of the night and would even go out of his way to make sure our wedding reception itinerary was moving along seamlessly while we were getting lost in the party! Oh and he was able to play the audio from our ceremony video so everyone could hear it! He made us feel so comfortable throughout the night and was simply just awesome and so enjoyable. We had so many people asking us about our dj throughout the night and following days! He even made sure to not play certain things we asked not to be played even when guests would request songs that didn’t fit what we wanted. Awesome experience! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. “Our wedding reception was AMAZING because of Shut Down Productions! D.J. Chocolate Rain knew the vibe of everyone, idk how he did it. It's like he read our minds. “DJ Johnny Rich was great to work with. We had multiple meetings leading up to the wedding. He used every song I selected through his app, which was so easy and seamless to use. It was honestly really reassuring having all of our music organized in one place that both of us could access and go through together. Not only did he absolutely nail the wedding, but he even followed us to our after party and helped me connect with the manger so we could keep the night going which turned into an amazing after party. “We hired a violinist-cellist duo to provide live music for our wedding ceremony. We had an outdoor ceremony in April and wanted to include live musicians to add a wholesomely romantic element to our ceremony that we didn’t feel music from a speaker would provide. The musicians were talented and played very well. They had a large repertoire of music for us to choose from that made it easy to curate a list of songs we really enjoyed to be played while our guests were arriving and during our processional/recessional walks. Jaclyn Duncan Music made it very easy for us to add this element to our wedding, and the rate was very reasonable as compared to other live musicians we looked into. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to add that extra special touch to your ceremony with ease.”
