“Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! “ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We hired AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID for our wedding and they were one of the best decisions we made. From the start, they were so easy to communicate with, incredibly professional, and genuinely attentive to our family’s needs. They even added last-minute band members with total ease, no stress, just smooth execution. We wanted a big party vibe, and that is exactly what we got. The vocals were phenomenal, the musicianship was outstanding, and the energy they brought was unreal. The perfect blend of music kept the dance floor packed all night, and the band read the room effortlessly. They were also so open to our personal touches, like my dream of having a big group sing-along, and they embraced it with enthusiasm. At the end of the night, they were even flexible and kind enough to stay for one last song, making the finale feel absolutely magical. One of our favorite parts was how interactive the performers were. The saxophonist, trumpet player, and lead singers came out onto the dance floor, mingled with guests, and encouraged everyone to get up and celebrate. It made the whole night feel electric and personal. A special highlight was how graciously they welcomed a performance from one of our wedding guests, seamlessly bringing them into the band and turning it into a moment we’ll never forget.
