I'm Steve, chef and owner of MileHighCook, trained at the Culinary Institute of America. We cook weddings all over Colorado: Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs and the mountain towns. Every menu is written for your wedding, never pulled from a binder. Choose plated, family style, stations or buffet, with passed appetizers and a bar if you want one. Our team handles setup, service and cleanup so you can enjoy the night. Weddings start at $100 a guest, with staff, setup and cleanup included and no added service charge.

It all began when Hal and Elaine Porter moved their family from the warm sunshine of Tucson, Arizona to be closer to family. They and their four daughters arrived in Utah on Christmas Eve in 1996. Elaine had grown up in Northern Utah and missed the beautiful mountains and seasons. To Elaine’s surprise, Hal had wanted to move to Utah years before, but the timing was not right. Both had spent time in Utah county and knew that this was going to be “home” to them. Hal, with his 47+ years of foodservice experience, and Elaine, with her 32+ years in the corporate world, began a new adventure and started a catering business in 2000.

Founded in 2008, Utah Celebrations has become one of the most well-known caterers in the state by catering more than 2000 weddings & corporate events and serving over 500,000 people. Unlike most caterers, our pricing and menus are posted online, and we will never charge you a hidden service fee. We promise not to book more than 2-3 events a day to guarantee that we can give you our best attention and service.
