Our mission is to make catering accessible to everyone without compromising on taste, presentation, or service! At Market Catering we're all about creating memorable experiences through food. We use quality ingredients to craft dishes that are not only delicious but also look amazing. Our values revolve around passion and a strong dedication to making events great.

At Market Catering we provide you simple, good catering. We believe in helping your vision come true with fast communication and a menu that works with your budget and vision. You will be assigned one Event Coordinator who will be your go-to for the entire event. They will take the extra time and care to ensure everything goes as you vision it and help ensure that your day is as stress-free as possible.

    Disappointing execution

    We hired Market Catering and were so excited that they were one of the few caterers in SLC to do our speciality dish we were set on. The planning and organizing all leading up to our wedding was incredible and the open house menu tastings really got us excited to see what they would come up with on our big day. We were pretty let down after we sat down on our wedding day and there was no water in the glasses, after having about 3 specific conversations talking about the water specifically. The coffee sleeves were too big for the cups they brought so were basically useless. We ordered side bread with olive oil and they served dry bread on the day. We also didn't get any leftovers at all! Not sure where it went but I've never heard of not having food leftover after an event. We did directly ask if we would get the leftovers in the preplanning and they said yes. Other specific things we asked for did not follow through on the big day either. It was pretty disappointing unfortunately as we were very excited. The food was still delicious though but the on-site execution fell short.

    Delish and great to work with caterer

    Market Catering was wonderful to work with from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating, reasonably priced, and consistently went above and beyond. One standout moment was how thoughtfully they helped us decorate our homemade cheesecake wedding cake, which meant so much to us. Their flexibility, kindness, and care truly made the experience seamless and stress-free.

    Will Hire Again!

    We used Market Catering for our son’s open house to celebrate his wedding. We called only a month in advance. I talked with Tanner and he was incredible. He gave me ideas to choose from and he communicated everything precisely. He kept in touch with me every week until the event. It was so easy working with him and on the night of the reception, they were early to set up and made everything look delicious and inviting. Many said it was the best food they have had at a wedding! Even the teenage cousins loved having a taco eating contest because they were so good. The workers were attentive to everyone’s needs and boxed up meals for the bride and groom and parents. They went far and above in service. I highly recommend them and their prices are more than reasonable. I will be using this company in the future. Thank you Tanner and your team!

    Wedding Gone Right!

    Cassidy and her team were amazing! They helped us narrow down what we needed and helped us stay on task. For the wedding, the food was amazing, Misty the bartender did such a great job! And Ivonne running things to make sure food was out and available on schedule did a perfect job. They had to do some fancy maneuvering with our building being lockout and having to get up and down the lift. The wedding was perfect and Market Catering took excellent care of our guests. Thank you so much for making our special day even better.

All events will be charged either a staffing fee or a delivery fee depending on the service style requested.
We sadly are unable to offer tastings at this time, however we do hold quarterly open houses we would love to have you at to try a section of our menus.
We can coordinate rentals for all linens, china, and catering needs. For anything else we have several contracts and recommendations we can give to you.
We can provide individual meals for all dietary restrictions.
We serve most of Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Weber, Wasatch, Morgan, and Summit Counties, however we are willing to travel further.
