    Ready to carry our arch there himself!

    Our venue was a library rooftop with an asymmetrical, tiered layout — not exactly a standard reception space. Colin didn't just accommodate that, he treated it like a puzzle worth solving. We spent real time together drawing up maps of the space, figuring out where everything could actually go before the day arrived. At one point the library told him a piece wouldn't fit in their elevator. He was ready to bring our arch down there himself to prove otherwise. That's the kind of advocacy you want from a vendor working directly with your venue on your behalf. We also were not easy clients, logistically speaking — we changed the layout multiple times, adjusted the food, and added a live band into the plan partway through. Every single time, Colin's answer was "yes, let's figure it out," never "that complicates things." Full catering, bar service, and all our rentals came through HPWT, and the entire event ran without a hitch because of the work he put in ahead of time. If you've got an unconventional venue and a caterer keeps telling you it "should be fine" without actually walking the space with you — go with someone who will. Colin and HPWT will.

    Highly Recommend

    They were great. I worked mostly with Mindy, she gave us a clear timeline for what needed to be picked when and helped us meet it. She also was very flexible and willing to find things that worked for us and our budget. I received compliments on the food months after our reception.

    100% Recommend!

    We could not be happier with our decision to work with Have Party Will Travel! They were wonderful to work with through the planning process, and they made our wedding dinner & reception go so smoothly. Our space was beautiful, setup and cleanup went super quickly, the food and drinks were delicious (and we got MANY compliments from friends and family), and their staff was wonderful. They were total pros and were flexible even when we had small tweaks close to our wedding. We'd absolutely hire HPWT again!

    Incredible Company, They go above and beyond!

    I would definitely recommend have party will travel to anyone who is planning an event! They were incredible during the entire planning process and Mindy Myers is so sweet and willing to help! They were patient and really listened to exactly what I was looking for. They will make your wedding dreams come true!! Thank you Mindy for being such an angel and helping my wedding day be everything Ive ever dreamed of ️

    Hire again in a heartbeat

    I cannot say enough about HPWT. If you need a caterer for any event, please hire them. Their motto alone speaks for itself. I mostly worked with Mindy and she is the ABSOLUTE best!! She is organized, very responsive, and I felt like she cared about my big day just as much as my mom did. They are very professional, their food is delicious (got so many compliments at and after the wedding), and they are very friendly and will work with you to make sure that you are happy and love everything about your big day. Hiring them was one of the best decisions I made. I'm kind of sad my wedding is over and I don't get to talk with Mindy anymore. I feel like I made friends at HPWT and I will miss working with them. If I ever need a caterer for an event again, I'll definitely hire them.

The delivery, set up, and clean up charges are all included in staff charges.
We offer two types of tastings Monday through Friday from 9-4 by appointment only. 1. Free- You can choose 1 entrée and 2 sides (or appetizers) 2. Paid- You can choose 2 entrées and 4 sides (or appetizers). The charge is $250.00. If you book with us, $250.00 will be credited to your invoice. For both types of tastings, there is a limit of 4 guests. If you have additional guests, the charge is $50.00 per guest.
We will meet with you as many times as you need to feel comfortable with the arrangements that are made for your event.
Yes. We will arrange rentals of tables, chairs, and china etc.
We service the entire Wasatch Front.
We will work with each client's guest list to accommodate the needed dietary restrictions.
We will cut and plate the wedding cake that you provide. There is a small fee for the plates, forks, and napkins provided. There is no extra cake cutting fee.
