Smyer Image is a boutique family photography studio serving the Greater Salt Lake Area, Utah. Brian Smyer specializes in creating custom wall art and heirloom albums, built around a private in-home reveal experience where portraits are projected onto your walls before anything is printed.

The reveal changes everything. Instead of scrolling through an online gallery alone, you see your portraits projected onto your own walls, in person, before anything is printed. It's not a sales pitch. It's the moment your family gets to see themselves as art, together, with no pressure and no rush. Every session becomes wall art or a heirloom album, not another folder of files on your phone. We design each piece around your actual home, your actual walls, so what you get is something you'll live with for years, not just look at once. We serve families across the Greater Salt Lake Area, and we keep every session personal.

Working with Brian (Smyer Image) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He has such a calming presence it felt like having a close friend behind the camera guiding us every step of the way. His posing direction was so natural and easy, and it helped us look like the best, most confident version of ourselves. The final gallery is breathtaking. The editing is clean and timeless but vibrant! This was so important to me to catch the color of my wedding dress so I didn’t want any dull or soft editing, the moments he captured are genuine, and every image feels meaningful. We are so thankful for him and these memories we’ll have forever.
