A wedding at Hildene is about more than being at one of Vermont’s most beautiful places. You and your guests deserve an authentic Vermont experience and you will begin that experience by walking through The Lincoln Family Home to your wedding ceremony in our historic formal garden. From high on a promontory, you look out to the Taconic Mountains to the west and the Green Mountains to the east, with stunning views of rolling fields and the famed Battenkill River Valley 300 feet below. Your guests will be treated to beautifully prepared fresh local food. Some ingredients will even have been grown at Hildene Farm. And, by having your wedding at Hildene you gain the added satisfaction of helping to support one of America’s great cultural heritage sites. The home and estate are now owned by the non-profit Friends of Hildene.

Our grounds offer a stunning marble amphitheater for ceremonies and two large fields for receptions. Fields of wild flowers, a marble quarry, and the picturesque New England town of West Stockbridge provide a magical backdrop for wedding photos.

We offer a rustic but elegant barn venue located along the Connecticut river. We offer an outside ceremony site on the waters edge that is peaceful and serene. We supply all tables, chairs and linens. We also provide cleanup after your event.

Let our beautiful 400-acre farm be the backdrop to your picturesque Vermont wedding or event. Our raw venue site sits on the side of a mountain, looking back across our family farm’s valleys, fields, and mountains. The site is located on the mountain across from our farmhouse and the area was made to accommodate a large event tent, it is approximately a 60’x200’ area. In addition to our venue site, we also have multiple possible ceremony locations available. Our farm is only a short drive from beautiful Brattleboro, Vermont, allowing accessible lodging for any guests traveling to help you celebrate your special day. With the help of our local and trusted vendors, we can help you create your Vermont dream wedding with our beautiful family farm as your priceless backdrop. A preferred vendor list of caterers, photographers, DJs, rental services, hotels, and more is available upon request.

Located in Barre, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, Hartman’s Herb Farm is a local farm, with greenhouses, gift shop, an event venue, and bed and breakfast. Because we have our own farm, green houses, and kitchen, Hartman’s Herb Farm is an all-inclusive location for weddings and events.
