“Oh, where does one start when recommending them?! As a photographer, staff communication is so important when it comes to timelines, locations on the property, etc.. Everyone I came in contact was so helpful, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. I was informed on the timeline multiple times throughout the day, and could always find someone when a question arose. Something huge that seems small was dinner. Myself along with the other vendors were fed promptly (the best meal I’ve ever had at a wedding too), with a space to set our belongings, which allowed us to get right back to work and not miss a thing! It’s so important that vendors are fed quickly so we aren’t scrambling to get back out there. As a natural light photographer, the Inn was a dream. Beautiful fencing, giant trees for shade, two buildings to work with, there was no shortage of “locations” when it came to the portraits. Between, the staff, location, and professionalism I easily give them a 10/10, and hope to be back for future weddings!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better venue experience for our wedding weekend (which consisted of a welcome party in the Mapleview Gardens, tented Front Lawn ceremony and reception, and after party in the Golf Clubhouse). Bonnie and her team were incredibly easy to work with from start to finish, quick to respond to any emails, and truly went above and beyond to bring all of our ideas, visions, and requests to life. Since our guests were traveling, it was nice to have a one-stop-shop for all of the wedding activities once guests arrived, and the Wappanachee Cottage was the perfect home base for the bride/groom and family to stay for the weekend and have plenty of room to separate to get ready. When the weather didn’t (at all!) cooperate, they were flexible and proactive, offering back-up spaces and seamlessly adapting plans to ensure everything still felt magical and stress-free. We were so excited to have our wedding here, and they somehow exceeded our incredibly high hopes & expectations. So grateful to have had our wedding at Lake Morey Resort!”

“Everything about our wedding weekend at Cardigan was both sacred and stunning. To start with, from the first encounter with Carter and Skye it felt as though we were working with a caring group of like-minded people who were truly invested in helping us make a special memory. A huge advantage is the ability to have the whole weekend to spend with your guests. The food was absolutely excellent and frankly exceeded our expectations (many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had), we were easily able to accommodate a 100 person ceremony and similarly sized event tent (strongly recommend LRTE), and all the while were still able to share our love of hiking and the woods with our loved ones. It is a slightly nonconventional venue, and so best suited for couples willing to be a little flexible and who lean towards a touch of adventure. However the AMC staff (and in particular Skye!) were accommodating at ever turn, and for the right crew, it's an incredibly special option. And when it's all said and done, it sure feels nice that all the proceeds go to an organization like the AMC. 3 Thanks again to the Cardigan staff (with special thanks to Carter, Skye, Marty and Garett)”

“On The River Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the moment we started planning, the staff was proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely kind. The process of booking and coordinating with them was so easy, and the venue itself was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. They hosted many of our out-of-town guests, and we heard nothing but rave reviews about their comfortable accommodations and hospitality. The highlight was our welcome party, where we were able to bring in our favorite food trucks and live music, with a bonfire and the soothing sound of the river below. “The easiest five stars we could ever give. If we could give The Barn on the Pemi a thousand, we would! My husband and I got married here on October 3, 2026, and I genuinely don’t know if words will ever do our experience justice. From the rehearsal to our wedding day and after-party, every moment was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. We knew the venue was breathtaking when we booked it, but what made it truly extraordinary was the team behind it. Every single staff member was phenomenal. The kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and attention to detail were unmatched. We felt so genuinely cared for, and so did our guests. Everything flowed seamlessly, allowing us to be completely present and soak in every second of the best day of our lives. The food? INCREDIBLE. The desserts? Just as amazing. Our guests are still raving about the food, service, and entire experience. Hosting nearly 200 people is no small feat, and this team made it look effortless. And then there’s Kendra. Oh, Kendra. Where do I even begin? Calling her incredible feels like the understatement of the century. She is an absolute miracle worker, and I truly cannot imagine our wedding without her. After spending so much time planning every little detail, having someone who cared so deeply about bringing our vision to life meant everything. She was organized, patient, reassuring, attentive, and somehow always ten steps ahead. No question was too small, no detail overlooked. She handled everything with such grace, and I never once doubted that we were in the best hands. But what makes Kendra so special goes far beyond being an exceptional coordinator. She genuinely cares. She made us feel heard, supported, and understood through every step of the process. By the end, she didn’t just feel like our coordinator; she felt like a friend. Having someone in your corner who treats your happiness as if it matters just as much to her as it does to you is something I will never forget. I hope she knows what an incredible difference she made for us. Our wedding was everything we’d hoped for and somehow so much more. We laughed, cried, danced our hearts out, and experienced a kind of happiness I wish we could bottle up forever. We didn’t spend the day worrying about logistics. We got to simply be a bride and groom, surrounded by our favorite people, making memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. To the coordinators, servers, bartenders, culinary team, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You gave us a weekend we will never forget. If we could do it all over again, we would choose The Barn on the Pemi a thousand times over, and we would choose Kendra every single time. To any couple considering this venue: BOOK IT. You’re not just choosing a beautiful place to get married. You’re choosing people who will pour their hearts into making your day everything you’ve dreamed of. October 3 will forever be the best day of our lives, and The Barn on the Pemi will forever have a piece of our hearts.”

“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Nicole, Keith, and the Greatful Dane Lodge! My husband, Shaun, and I had our wedding here this past weekend, and I’m so “greatful” that we came across this venue when we did. After touring nearly 10 venues, we were starting to think we would never find the one. As soon as we met Nicole and saw the lodge, we knew this was it. Not only is the pricing genuinely affordable for a wedding, but the venue itself is absolutely stunning. All 55 of our guests were raving about it throughout the entire night! We booked the Destination Wedding Package since most guests were traveling from out of state, and everyone staying on site was comfortable and had plenty of space. From the moment we booked, I never once felt pressured, rushed, or like we were being nickel-and-dimed for every little thing. Nicole and Keith went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend everything we hoped it would be, and I could not be more appreciative of all the work they put in behind the scenes to make it happen. If you’re looking for a venue where you’ll be treated like a person rather than a paycheck, and where the owners genuinely care about making your wedding special, TOUR THIS PLACE!! You’ll fall in love with it just like Shaun and I did. ️️ We truly could not recommend the Greatful Dane Lodge, Nicole, and Keith enough!”

“Our experience with Owl’s Nest was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we toured the venue with Gail, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. She made the entire booking process so easy and helped us choose the perfect date. Owl’s Nest truly offers an all-in-one experience — the on-site lodging made it so convenient for our family and friends, and every space on the property is breathtaking. We hosted our wedding in The Lakehouse, which was stunning, and originally planned to have our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in The Vault. When our guest list grew, the team seamlessly moved our welcome party to The Sunset Pavilion, and it worked out perfectly! We even reserved the golf simulators at Slice, which added such a fun touch for our guests. A huge thank-you to Taylor, our event planner — she was absolutely amazing. She put so much thought and detail into everything and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The night before and the day of the wedding, she and her team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I was nervous about vendor coordination, and Taylor personally reached out to each one to confirm everything so I wouldn’t have to worry. On our wedding day, she was my cheerleader, problem-solver, and calm in the chaos. I know Owl’s Nest has several planners, but I truly feel so lucky to have had Taylor. She made our entire experience unforgettable, and we could not have asked for a better venue or team. I would recommend Owl’s Nest to any couple looking for a beautiful, seamless, and joy-filled wedding experience!”

“We got married at the Summit Lodge in Killington, Vermont this past August, and it truly could not have been more perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—tucked in the mountains with gorgeous views and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the most unique and amazing parts was being able to have the entire property to ourselves for four days. It made the whole experience feel relaxed, intimate, and so special for us and our guests. From the welcome gathering to the wedding day and everything in between, it felt like our own private mountain retreat. Angela, the coordinator, was incredible to work with and made the entire process feel seamless. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together perfectly. Her support staff, especially Brigitte, were equally amazing—so helpful, organized, and genuinely kind throughout the entire weekend. They made us feel completely taken care of and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. The owner, Emmett, was also fantastic and offered so much helpful advice along the way. It was clear how much he cares about the experience couples and their guests have there. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran—so many people have told us it was their favorite wedding they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly. We also highly recommend asking about RambleTree, one of their partnered bands that plays Irish music during the winter months, for a late-night set. It was one of the highlights of our wedding and really added to the Irish charm of the whole celebration.”

“Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.”

“We had our wedding at Wolfsburg farm this summer and it was spectacular! The outdoor ceremony location was breathtaking and the barn for the reception had that perfect rustic charm. The venue has PLENTY of space which makes for an amazing cocktail hour / hangout section. They set up a lounge space with rugs and chairs for our guests to hangout in and it was a big hit. The view from the field is GORGEOUS especially at sunset. We opted for the weekend package so our guests could camp overnight and hanging out with friends by the fire as the night winded down was something we will always cherish. Ashleigh and Andrew made the whole day so special and easy. Ashleigh helped with planning needs and coordinated everything so we didn’t have to focus on anything except enjoying our day. I can’t recommend this venue enough. You will have an amazing day you will never forget here.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! The inn offers a beautiful country setting on the outside that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. Stan and Odo are extremely kind and gracious hosts, who let us make our wedding truly our own!”

“My husband and I got married at Okemo in August 2025, and we couldn’t recommend it more! The resort is absolutely stunning—the grounds are beautifully maintained, the location is incredibly convenient, and the town of Ludlow is adorable. Since most of our guests were traveling from out of town, having everyone stay in one place for the entire weekend was priceless. Our guests loved the variety of activities at the resort, how easy it was to pop into town, and the many room options available at Jackson Gore Inn. What truly sealed the deal for us, though, was the wedding team at Okemo. Kim Vezina worked closely with my mom and me throughout the whole planning process. Our monthly and weekly Zoom calls with her kept us organized and completely at ease. On the wedding day, Kim was with me every step of the way—solving problems on the fly and making everything run smoothly. My husband and I also wanted our first look at the top of the mountain, and Kim handled every detail to make it happen. She is truly on your team! Redmond was also incredibly helpful the entire wedding weekend, always available for anything we needed through set up. The food and bar service were excellent—plated quickly, delicious, and the team was wonderful to work with as we chose our menu. Okemo is truly an underrated wedding venue. It’s a one-stop shop for an unforgettable experience—flexible, personable, and professional from start to finish. Could not recommend it more!”

“If you want your wedding to be a weekend long affair filled with love, laughter, and beautiful scenery, look no further than Stickney Farms! From the start Jen was very easy to work with, letting us tour the venue multiple times and always responding promptly to emails or texts before, during, and after the wedding. When a storm came through the night before our wedding, Jen went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We loved the ability for us and our guests to stay on property all weekend, which allowed us ample time to decorate, set up, and enjoy time with family and friends. The venue and property are so naturally beautiful and there are a million ways to make it your own. We had guests travel from near and far and all told us what a special spot we had picked. We had a perfect wedding weekend and can’t imagine having held it anywhere else! Big thanks to Jen for making our wedding dreams come true. ️”

“Overall, I would highly recommend choosing the Red Clover Inn as your wedding venue. I have included some criticism to take into consideration, but in the end would not have changed my decision to have our wedding there. I have so much more to say, but am limited by the characters limit. THE GOOD PART The wedding weekend was the wedding of our dreams. Our guests were welcomed with open arms by the staff who worked incredibly hard. There were fresh flowers for our VIPs and all throughout the inn as a special touch and they truly went above and beyond to make our family and friends comfortable. We had planned a welcome barbeque that I thought would be very casual, but the staff really elevated it with their décor and attention through the evening. We got to enjoy the outdoor space under the stunning apple tree for our evening and the team put on a bonfire with s'mores for us. The bridal suite is my favorite room of them all. Bright, comfortable, and beautiful. We fit my group of 6 and a beauty team of 4. The day of the wedding was heavy rain all day long. We did have a rain plan in place and moved everything into the barn. The barn is beautifully decorated with ethereal lighted trees and candles throughout. It was an excellent back-up plan. The staff stood outside with umbrellas for the entirety of the ceremony and I don’t know what we would have done without them. We then moved to the cocktail hour and reception which were held in the inn. It was STUNNING. The staff did all the decorating with the items we brought and their own pieces, and our special touches to personalize our wedding, we didn’t have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. I did provide a list of decorations and my expectations for placement to help move things along prior to the event. There was a room for everything. We had dinner in the tavern, and after the meal, the guests used the other rooms, or took a break to their rooms while the tavern was transformed to the dance floor. The flow of the evening was so natural, and I really feel like the venue catered to every guest’s need with a quiet sitting room, a dancing space, and a space in between. At the end of the night, there was no clean up for us, the staff took care of the necessary items that evening, and we picked up the rest of the venue after our guests left the next day. The on-site accommodations perfectly fit our guest count and were comfortable for everyone. We got to appreciate every inch of the Inn and I am so happy we chose it. THE CRITIQUE We visited the inn 3 times through planning, and each visit was very productive, with Venetia’s undivided attention to chat through logistics and details, but we would recommend better communication when guests are not visiting. I did feel like I had to visit to accomplish planning items. Promised follow-up was rarely followed through. I did have to push on this when it began to affect our vendors (ie. Table dimensions for our florist), and ultimately we got the information we needed. Contracted timelines were also not held to through the planning (ie. guest room reservations going out on time). And the final critique was unclear pricing on a few things like the bar, a kitchen usage fee, and catering costs. The Red Clover staff was always responsive to our escalation, but I wish it didn’t require that. I highly recommend if you choose this venue, requesting clear deadlines and pricing stated in the contract.”

From management to the entire staff, everyone was fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were kind, accommodating, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we had hoped for. With rain on the radar, the team worked with us and moved things around to make sure we were still able to have our ceremony at the summit — something that meant so much to us. We are incredibly grateful for the effort they put into making it happen. And in the end, the overcast weather made the mountain even more beautiful. The views were breathtaking, and our photos came out looking absolutely majestic against the mountains and clouds. It honestly felt like something out of a dream. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and made for such a unique and unforgettable wedding experience. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Loon was and how special it was to take the gondola up the mountain for our ceremony. The food was also fantastic! Our wedding day was truly the most magical day, and Loon Mountain was such a huge part of making it that way. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married or a better team to have behind us. We will forever be grateful to everyone at Loon for giving us a day we will never forget.
