“Where do we even begin?! North Shore House was a dream come true for our wedding. We only viewed 2 venues, this being the second, because as soon as we saw NSH we felt at home. Location: It felt like we were on vacation and not in New Jersey, it was so serene and special. Grounds were impeccable. Each season brings a different feel, even with a misty day it was striking with the flowers, antique gates, greenery, etc. Every time we visited off season there was some maintenance being done that just goes to show the love that gets put into it. The history behind the grounds was very interesting to us and we made sure to get a picture with their bar (originally imported from Brooklyn). They have beautifully decorated guest rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and a classy feel. They allowed us to pre-pick who would be given what room to avoid any drama. Our corner room was the newlywed suite and had the best view on the grounds, we felt so special! Service: NSH is a family owned business and they bring charm in everything they do. It was a pleasant surprise that throughout the process we met a new family member running different aspects - the kitchen/catering, grounds work, business/sales, etc! Throughout the experience (and especially day of) they would check in to make sure everything was to expectations. No wonder it felt like we were at home. We must call out that our day of coordinator, Samantha, was a literal dream to work with. She was light hearted, flexible, and felt like a friend helping you plan your day (without any of the drama that you might get working with family/friends :) professionalism was top notch). Special thanks to Eric as well that gave us the initial tour and supported our whole experience. Day Of: It was rainy and they waited until last minute to make the call if we would do outdoor ceremony. Thankfully it lightened up and they set up all the chairs within 30 mins of the start time so that the guests would not sit on soaking wet chairs. I loved how they met up with me (the bride) before the ceremony entrance which made me feel special. They had a bridal attendant Diana that was very friendly and brought us food, champagne, etc. Overall we are so happy we chose NSH to have our wedding. Everything had high attention to detail. The bride's father is a musician and has played hundreds of weddings and in general has high expectations - but he was very impressed with the grounds ("Spotless - you can tell they put in a lot of work") and the food ("This was real restaurant food, not wedding food"). Other family members continue to say how special of a wedding it was and how much they loved the historic Inn. It will always hold a special place in our heart - not only for our wedding, but for the first meeting of our parents, we reserved dinner there exactly 1 year from our date and enjoyed the ambiance, food, and service, getting us all so excited for the big day. Highly recommend this idea for other couples so you can picture what it will be like day of and get a different kind of tasting experience! We are very much looking forward to visiting for future anniversaries! Thank you so much again! - Holly & Ryan Hedderich”

“Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!”

“Lake Mohawk Country Club was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Their communication style was very flexible - they were happy to chat with us over email or get on a call whenever we had questions. The space itself is absolutely stunning, and the entire team, especially Karen and Blake, were great to work with throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond, unpacking all of our wedding decor and setting it up perfectly. The food was also delicious! If I had to say one negative thing (just so you know this is real.) ... was the cost of the bridal suite and the den, which felt a bit high. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Lake Mohawk Country Club and would highly recommend them to any couples looking for a beautiful wedding venue.”

“We were married on 5/10/25 & I still am beaming ear to ear about my experience at Minerals Hotel. From the moment we stepped on the property to view the venue, we knew it was special. Rachel greeted us and gave us the grand tour & made us feel so comfortable. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm for the space and everything they had to offer really sold us. We fell in love with everything. I did not realize my experience would be getting that much better with Dana as my coordinator. She went above and beyond to help us. She answered any and all of questions, she gave me honest feedback, and always put my needs ahead of anything else. She’s a professional & a saint. My whole experience as a bride was made better from her being there for us throughout the whole experience. Our wedding day went extremely smooth & I don’t know if it would have went that way without her and her team. Our wedding weekend was everything we could have wanted and more. The minerals hotel staff took care of everything and made everyone feel so comfortable. I cannot tell you how many people are still texting us about how amazing everything was and how they want to find more excuses to come to this hotel & have another event. For the weekend, we opted for a welcome party for all of our guests the night before & offered snacks and a cash bar in the diamond room- it really set the scene for the whole weekend. Our bartender that night kept the drinks flowing and everyone had the best time. The late night snacks were really good too. We also opted for a farewell brunch the day after the wedding in the same room and it was perfect. The breakfast buffet is unmatched & was much needed after a night of partying. We got married in the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals hotel and it was perfect. Not only is the pavilion itself beautifully designed but the staff were on top of everything. They made sure that everyone had what they needed (which was a lot for a 180 person wedding) and were so organized. Our lovely bridal assistant, Kya, made sure my husband & I ate, were hydrated and even had to do a quick tailoring job for me to make my dress more comfortable to dance in haha. The dance floor was perfect for a big dance party, the chicken roulade & filet mignon were divine, and the bartenders made a fabulous lemon drop martini (my choice haha) There was not one thing I could say wrong about the whole night. The makeup artists (Marisol and Leah) and hairstylist (Caitlin) that we hired from the salon at Minerals were INCREDIBLE. Every single girl looked absolutely beautiful. A big concern when hiring was seeing how the makeup artists worked on mature skin & hooded eyes- they knocked it out of the park. These girls are extremely talented . The cocktail hour was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the food (also Kya wrapped up all the food for us so the day after the wedding my husband & I were able to try everything we weren’t able to- it was such a nice treat) & the after party pool party was so much fun (I highly recommend booking the pool, your guests, & you, will love it…and the after party churros- everyone ate those up). After the princess treatment we received at minerals hotel, I don’t think anyone should get married anywhere else. Dana, Kya, Rachel, & the rest of the minerals team made my dream wedding into a reality bigger than what I could have imagined for myself. Do not hesitate, book this venue, you will be so glad you did.”

“My husband and I chose this as our wedding venue. Some months before our wedding they had implemented a team of women to help with any questions and planning. These ladies were extremely helpful with answering questions and were typically quick to respond. The day before our wedding, we went to set up the tables and decorations I had made. The inn keeper Tricia was super kind and let me feel like I had a full run of the venue to do whatever I had envisioned. She basically told me I could do whatever I needed, and if I needed extra hands for help to let her know and she would get me help. The day of the wedding was very hot, and there was an unfortunate breakdown of the AC in our getting ready room and suite for the night. They placed us in the next Best room for the night and got us in a cooler space for getting ready. Even with that, if I had to do the wedding all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I am so grateful to the team working with me leading up to the wedding day as well as everybody involved to make our wedding day so special. If you choose this place as your wedding venue, I feel as though you will not be disappointed, even when things go wrong.”

“Choosing David’s Country Inn for our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautiful and unique the venue is. Every detail is thoroughly considered and they’ve thought of everything which made planning so much easier for us. Our event coordinator Jordan was incredible, always prompt, communicative, and supportive. On our wedding day, she and the entire DCI team went above and beyond. They were organized, professional, and attentive to every detail, everything ran seamlessly. There was never a moment where a question went unanswered or where we felt unsure. The staff is genuinely there to guide and support you at every step. It’s clear that everyone at David’s Country Inn truly loves what they do, which makes the entire experience so enjoyable. Tamerlaine is a PLANT-BASED/Vegan venue. The sanctuary is a rustic oasis with a beautiful purpose. “There is nothing but wonderful things to say about Mama's catering services. We used Mama's catering for our wedding in September 2026. From the beginning, communication and planning with Sheri was seamless and quick. We were able to completely customize the menu to our liking including cocktail hour appetizers, dinner, and desserts. Sheri is incredibly kind and helpful in her communications and has many years of customer service and planning experience. Sheri and Tom were nothing but kind, generous and thoughtful throughout our planning process. Sheri even contacted my venue to talk to the coordinator to make sure the day of and catering would go smoothly. The day of catering team lead by Corynna could not have been more wonderful. The cocktail hour food was delicious, hot, and it was passed around abundantly and efficiently to the guests. The many butlers and large catering team were incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and attentive when serving food during cocktail hour and dinner. We were blessed with a dedicated server for just the bride and groom, and we were served our own appetizer plate and dinner plates and were able to enjoy our delicious food during a chaotic day. The dinner food was served hot and generously to all guests with many chosing to go up for seconds! We had an endless amount of our guests comment on our delicious food, with many commenting especially on how delicious the pear purses are (my personal favorite). There was also a dedicated server to just the 2 Gluten Free guests, who were served their own meals. Mama's also was able to provide us with a late night pizza service that guests also enjoyed. Corynna communicated seamlessly with all of the other vendors including the bartenders and DJ. All of the servers were incredibly present the day of and could not have been more perfect. They were constantly checking in, making sure we had everything we needed, and paying attention to the little details so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Their thoughtfulness went far beyond simply serving the food. They genuinely cared about making sure our day went smoothly and that we, our families, and our guests were taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Mama's team to anyone looking for a catering team that genuinely cares about their couples and their guests!”

“Words truly cannot express how much I loved Sylvan Ridge Farm and their incredible team for our wedding weekend. It was the weekend of my dreams, and leaving at the end was so bittersweet. From the planning process to the wedding day, everything with Alyssa was absolutely flawless. As someone who is very Type A, I truly appreciated how organized and prepared she was. She had every detail under control, which allowed me to relax and be fully present throughout our day. She was incredibly patient, attentive, and caring whenever I had questions or needed anything. We absolutely adored her and the entire team. Sylvan Ridge Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. One of our biggest priorities was finding a place where we could spend as much time as possible with our family and friends, and this venue made that possible. That ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend. We are so grateful for the unforgettable memories we made there and couldn't imagine celebrating anywhere else.”

“Our wedding at Shawnee was nothing short of magical. Our wedding took place on October 5, 2024, at Shawnee Inn. From the moment we secured the venue, Tabitha was incredibly supportive and consistently available to assist us. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at this location, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Upon our arrival on Thursday, Jorge welcomed us warmly and provided invaluable assistance in transporting our wedding items to the conference room. On Friday, our guests participated in a round of golf, with JJ and Nick playing a pivotal role in organizing the outing. That evening, we held a welcome barbecue for all attendees, where the food was fantastic and the staff exemplary. On the morning of our wedding, we were treated to brunch while we prepared for the ceremony. Tabitha checked in frequently to ensure everything was proceeding smoothly. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn, which was breathtaking. It was followed by cocktail hour under the pavilion, which was truly stunning. The food and service during the cocktail hour were outstanding, with LaCresha ensuring that we, the brides, were well-fed and had drinks in hand. The reception took place in the main ballroom, where the dinner was delicious and the staff continued to impress us with their service. We concluded the celebration at the Brewery, where the staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. It was a flawless day, and we are immensely grateful to everyone involved. We had no complaints whatsoever. The following day, we hosted a farewell brunch on the front porch, and once again, the staff was attentive, and the food was remarkable. The bloody mary bar was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the wonderful time they had at Shawnee. The hotel itself is beautiful and exudes charm; although it is an older establishment, it possesses a unique character. The friendly and helpful staff significantly enhanced our special day. We highly recommend Shawnee to anyone seeking a memorable venue.”

The Meadow Wood is an absolutely beautiful, elegant venue (inside and outside) with every detail accounted for. That theme continues from start to finish with all they do. The food was not only delicious but was presented in such a way you couldn’t help but simply just say “Wow". We are happy we took a moment to pause and take it all in - from cocktail hour displays, to main course plating, to desserts that went on forever …. – “Amazing!!”. We appreciate all the work, professionalism and hands on attentive approach from the staff (a special shout out to Juan and Becky!!). None of this could have been accomplished without them working together in the same manner. It was seamless. Thank you, George, John, Tim, Charlie, Frank and all at the Meadow Wood for making our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding “the best day ever “as they begin their new life together as a married couple”

“We had a vision, and Clinton/West Song Farm had all of the answers! We’re musicians and Deadheads, so the #1 VALUE of choosing this venue was the live band they put together for us and played the most epic setlist of NON- traditional wedding songs. This was a rock and roll wedding — every detail branded as a music festival wedding called JAMMIN ON THE FARM. The fates had it where we had PERFECT sunny skies and 70 degrees in mid September, painting the most beautiful landscape when guests arrived and took a hayride or leisurely walk to the ceremony under a massive willow tree. I walked down the grassy, dramatic aisle with my mom, and my twin brothers led the funniest, most joyful ceremony. The band played during cocktail hour which I called “Shakedown Street”, with a Dead-inspired VW van photo booth bus, flower crowns, custom merch, farm-grown flower decor, tap truck for drinks and more. Dinner and dessert were served in 2 food trucks with 10 options to choose from - I cannot overstate how much guests LOVED this format. After dinner we brought a cannabis bar, bonfire and dessert to keep the party going. Clinton invited me on stage to sing my favorite Taylor Swift song (Anti-Hero) and if you can’t already tell, this was the BEST wedding ever ever ever ever. Clinton made it all possible, and while it costs a lot to build your dream wedding, West Song Farm made it ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!!! Do not miss out on this amazing amazing amazing venue and team.”

“The in house team is incredible - Kasie, Kaitlin and Sarah were responsive to every question we had, providing recommendations and offering up any help needed to bring our vision to life. I love that they went above and beyond and sourced local whiskey for our specialty cocktail! Their enormous storage closet of wedding decor saved us a lot of money too. Everything will go smoothly with the Armory team at the helm - they have running events down to a science. The entire space is so beautiful that you do not need to spend on decor - it is industrial but still warm and inviting. The lighting is perfect, the sound system is flawless, and their pulley system of curtains makes for a seamless and beautiful transition between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The lofted getting ready suite is enormous which was a huge plus: we are an LGBT couple so we had 2 brides and 20 other people eating brunch and getting ready together and we all fit. I am an event planner as my day job so I have high standards and a *lot* of opinions when it comes to events, and there's not a single thing I would have changed or done differently!”

About wedding venues in Hampton, NJ

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. Mid-sized weddings with 150 guests come in around $57,123 and larger gatherings of 200 reach about $71,002. Going bigger? Expect to invest around $84,881 for 250 guests or $98,761 for 300 guests. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.

Which Budget Categories Matter Most for New Jersey Celebrations?

Knowing where your money typically goes helps you allocate your budget effectively. Venues take the biggest slice at about 17% of your total budget or $9,599 for a 150-guest wedding. Hudson House brings Italian influence through Executive Chef Matteo Limoli's creative menu designs. The Rockleigh adjusts their menus seasonally and can customize dishes to match your personal tastes. Food quality varies dramatically between venues so tastings are essential.

The Rockleigh can accommodate massive celebrations with up to 850 guests while offering both grand ballrooms and beautiful outdoor garden settings. Bridgewater Manor features elegant chandeliers a grand staircase and beautifully maintained grounds that photograph wonderfully. Liberty House and Hudson House provide scenic settings that work perfectly with advanced audiovisual systems to bring your ceremony to distant loved ones.
