We are a happy little family that lives minutes away from the shores of Lake Superior. We just bought a fixer-upper that we are eager to spruce up and settle into as we watch our daughter grow! ​Our story started in 2014 over several games of the card game Speed. We had mutual friends and went to the same church but as fate would have it, we ended up being the only two people at what was supposed to be a big gathering. Instead of calling it a night, we chatted and played cards. Matt knew it was love then, but Lauren needed more time. Regardless of what page we were on, our friendship continued to grow over the next year.
