“My husband and I hired Edgar (Anchor Studios) as our photographer for our wedding on July 7, 2024. He did an amazing job!! Since we started working with him for our engagement pictures up to the wedding and after, he has been great at communication and very professional. He went above and beyond by helping us create a timeline for our wedding because didn’t know how weddings usually go. He worked so hard on the day of our wedding to get the best shots, and was very kind and helped us a lot with organizing order of events. He had great ideas for poses and was very mindful to get all the pictures we wanted with family members and bridal party. And even better than all of this, when we got the pictures, they came out amazing!! It’s very clear that he put a lot of hard work into making them look incredible. He is a very talented and skilled photographer. We were blown away by how they turned out! We are very thankful for how hard he worked and how great he made the picture look! We highly recommend him!”

“I don’t even know where to begin, because no matter how many words I use, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully capture just how incredible Johnny was. I can honestly say that choosing Johnny was one of the best decisions I made throughout this entire wedding planning process. You aren’t just booking a photographer—you’re getting a photographer, a best friend, and someone who genuinely has your back through the entire process. Weddings come with chaos, drama, last-minute changes, and everything in between. Johnny handled every change, every request, and every random thing we threw his way with nothing but patience and kindness. He never once made me feel guilty for asking for something. In fact, he did the complete opposite. He constantly reminded me, *“It’s your day.”* And that meant more to me than he probably even realized. Our engagement session still makes me cry. And now, two days after our wedding, I’m sitting here crying over our sneak peeks all over again. You are NOT getting your average, boring portrait photos with Johnny—and that’s exactly what we wanted. His photos don’t just make you look back on your wedding day; they make you **relive it**. The emotion, the little moments, the people, the love—he somehow captures all of it in a way that feels almost magical. What Johnny does is incredible, but who Johnny is makes it even more special. I truly cannot thank him enough for the way he showed up for us, supported us, and captured memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. If you’re considering booking Johnny, do it. You won’t just be hiring a photographer—you’ll be gaining someone who cares about you, your story, and your day just as much as you do. And those are memories you can never put a price on.”

She helped us plan out our timeline so we knew exactly what to expect on the big day, which took so much stress off our shoulders. Angela has a gift for capturing different moments and angles that we didn't even know we wanted but absolutely love now. I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

Savage Wedding Co.
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Groveton, NH

Savage Wedding Co. is for couples who want their wedding to feel like themselves — not a performance, not a production, and not something they have to manage all day. I work with a balance of structure and flexibility: enough direction to keep things moving, and enough space for moments to unfold without forcing them. I don’t chase perfection or try to smooth out every edge. Some moments are quiet. Some are awkward. Some don’t fit neatly into a highlight reel — and that’s usually where the honest stuff lives. I don’t rush past those moments or reshape them to look like something else. I let things be.

If you’re hesitant, don’t be. Book him!!”

Hazel & Spice Photography
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,700

When I first started wedding photography, I made a goal of being more than just the photographer on your big day. I made it my goal to be your friend, someone you can crack inside jokes with, and someone who isn't afraid to get down + have fun at the reception (while still doing her job). I made it my goal to capture more than just photos, but an experience. Whether it’s high in the mountains, on a beach near the ocean, in a forest meadow - you deserve to get married however you want to & I want to capture it for you.

“From the moment we started planning our wedding, Lexi from Hazel & Spice Photography was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns. She takes her job seriously and goes above and beyond to capture the shots that any bride dreams of having. On the day of our wedding, she showed up early and helped our bartender set up the last-minute charcuterie cups while I was finishing my hair—that's just who she is. Lexi wasn't just our photographer; she became a friend to us. Her work is incredible and her dedication to making our day special really stood out. We can't recommend her enough. And the results of her work, our photos from our special day turned out breath taking! Chose Lexi you will never be disappointed!”

“Working with Tharun and his entire photography team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional, creative, and genuinely invested in making every moment unforgettable. They went above and beyond our expectations in every possible way. The quality of the photos and videos was simply phenomenal. Every shot captured the emotions, joy, and beauty of our celebration so perfectly that we get to relive those memories every time we look at them. But what truly blew us away were the edits they were absolutely fire! The cinematic quality, attention to detail, colors, transitions, and storytelling were on another level. The biggest testament to their talent was the response we received online. Every Instagram post created performed incredibly well, with friends, family, and even people we didn’t know commenting on how stunning the content looked. The visuals were so captivating that our posts went viral, and we continue to receive compliments weeks later. Beyond their exceptional talent, Tharun and his team were warm, patient, organized, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured natural, candid moments that we’ll treasure for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a photography and videography team that combines creativity, professionalism, and world-class editing, look no further than Tharun and his team. They don’t just capture memories they create timeless works of art. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for the very best.”

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

“tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.”

Kelsie Elizabeth Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $8,500
  • Serves Groveton, NH

Kelsie has long been captivated by the quiet magic of photography—the way a single frame can preserve memory, emotion, and legacy. Her earliest work, documenting her uncle’s final birthday, revealed the depth of what an image could hold: joy, grief, love, and connection. Today, she approaches every story with that same reverence, blending artistry and intention to capture fleeting moments that become timeless heirlooms—images that carry meaning long after the day has passed.

“Having Kelsie as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! Kelsie is fun, thoughtful, organized, flexible, and such a talented photographer. Her previous experience as an event planner shone through as she kept in touch and asked careful questions to get to know us and think through our vision. Covid got in the way of many of our plans and we had to reorganize our whole wedding just days out, but Kelsie’s eye for balancing big moments and small details really captured all the special parts of our day. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our photos and wedding album turned out!”

They share two children and when they aren't creating amazing wedding day memories for their clients they are out exploring. “Nichole and Jason have been nothing but professional throughout our booking process, engagement photos, and wedding weekend. All of the photos we've received so far we have been absolutely blown away with how good they are. They were great communicating to make sure our needs were met. We felt so comfortable with them and see them not only as our wedding photographer and videographer but someone my husband and I could be friends with. They were really great making sure our Indian fusion wedding was beautifully captured. I can't wait to see all of the photos but the sneak peaks were so good. They also asked questions about the ceremonies that we had to ensure they knew how best to document as well as wanting to sincerely learn more about the culture. You will not regret hiring these two. I would hire them both again in a heartbeat! This husband/wife team creates magic!”
