What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

We started out as a different business with a completely different name in 2016. From there, we revamped the entire business into the one of a kind business you see growing now. We went from wood decor and furniture for the home to wood decor, wood flower arrangements, wood flower decor, and more for the home.

Since 2013 we have partnered with our clients to offer bespoke floral design services for their one-of-a-kind day! “Shannon and Three Roots were amazing to work with! You can see from the photos (By Jessie Barentsen) below how absolutely stunning our florals were on our day. Throughout the whole planning process Shannon was so easy to communicate with and always had very prompt, timely responses. She was able to take my thoughts and visions bring them together and to life. She was very detail oriented down to having me select ribbons and vessels for our bouquets and florals. She sourced the most beautiful candles and bud vases for us as well. We had some last minute cancellations and cut down 2 tables and she worked with us to reallocate what we had paid for those tables to florals elsewhere in the space to not lose out. On our day there was so much love and hugging the groomsmen boutonnieres were falling off before the ceremony and she made new ones for all of them and placed them on. I cannot recommend Shannon enough!”

We were introduced to Lisa through our planner. The first call helped us understand how she works, what’s typical for wedding floral vendors, and what kinds of packages she offers. Lisa’s warm, a good listener, and even in the first call exudes expertise and style. Immediately confident she could do the job well. I love how she structured her proposals—she gave us an easy slide deck with colors, sample florals and greenery, vessel options, altar shapes, and other design details. It’s informative without being overwhelming, and helped us make decisions we loved. As an LGBTQ couple, it was also lovely to work with a vendor who understood how some details may be different & help us with ideas for what was unfamiliar to us. Lastly, on wedding day, Lisa and her team move quickly and almost invisibly. “We wanted to have a wildflower-themed, fun, and colorful wedding with the Shenandoah mountains as the backdrop, and Pandora's Posies was the PERFECT florist to execute our vision. I sent her many pictures from pinterest of what the look was I wanted, and we discussed over the phone what actual type of flowers would work for that. She was very accommodating and even tried to grow specific flower types that I wanted! Her price range was very reasonable, and overall, we were SO happy with the look of our flower arrangements for our wedding!”
