“Isaac was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we couldn't be happier we chose Love Knot Photography for our wedding. From the start, what stood out was how much he cared about capturing the actual feeling of the day rather than just working through a checklist of poses. He and his co-photographer had a great eye for the in-between moments — the little glances, the laughter, the chaos of getting ready — alongside all the formal shots we expected. Looking through our gallery afterward, so many of our favorite photos are ones we didn't even know were being taken. He was also just easy and calm to have around on a hectic day, which mattered more than we realized it would. Weddings move fast, and having a photographer who was unobtrusive but always exactly where he needed to be took one more thing off our minds. One of the things we appreciated most: he and his co-photographer stayed well past the time included in our package, all the way until we started dancing. That extra stretch of time meant they captured some of the best — and funniest — photos of the whole night, catching our friends and family completely in their element on the dance floor. It wasn't something we asked for; they just wanted to make sure they got the shots. Isaac also went well beyond the package once it came to editing. Our contract included 300 retouched photos, but we ended up with around 550 edited images and 717 total files between web and print resolution, including alternate crops and versions of several favorites. It's clear he genuinely cared about giving us as much of the day as possible, not just fulfilling a contract. It is not just the amount or the quality of the photos you get with Shelby, but her customer service is above and beyond. She met with me in person 3 times to help settle my nerves and I couldn't have been more grateful. Shelby was so understanding and no vision I had was too outlandish or too much trouble. She communicated in a transparent, deliberate way, but was never pushy or disrespectful. I interviewed multiple photographers and truly, we just meshed well together. Shelby is unique and her sparkle really shines during the chaos, handling it like a BOSS! We had a military wedding and let me tell you, she handled it. I learned that she also only takes 3-4 weddings a month to really prioritize her clients and let me tell you, it shows so much! She got us sneak peaks within a week and the full gallery was delivered in 4 weeks. Look, I could have easily been classified as an "intense" bride and Shelby reassured me all day and reminded me that I was allowed to enjoy my day. Truly, I didn't just hire a photographer that day, I hired a trusted friend and we have already planned our 5 year anniversary photos in Italy with her. I know this review is a lot, but if you are looking for a photographer (that essentially has the 2nd MOST IMPORTANT role on your wedding day), that will give you more than a camera click and congratulations email, then SHELBY IS YOUR GIRL!!! Just talk to her! She shoots you straight and can help so much! Also, last thing, she respected our privacy. Our gallery was delivered via USB because we can't have personal photos of my husband on the internet. You will also not see them anywhere on her socials or website and they were not shared with other vendors, per our request. Yes, military family here. We trust her and you can too.”
