We never use floral foam in our arrangements. We are committed to using non-toxic materials and mechanics that are biodegradable or recyclable.

It started with a dream. For years I've had this vision of my family's dream home. On the property, there would be space for me to have a small cottage-like flower studio and make space. Outside would be an abundant garden with many paths one could walk and a few secret seating places. I imagined customers and wedding clients could come to visit my studio and gardens, dreaming up what their wedding or elopement flowers would look like while surrounded by the beauty of flowers.

After many years of helping with countless wedding days and working with many types of flowers and greenery, we decided to dive deeper into to the floral world and expand our offerings. After taking personal training classes with a local florist to learn better understanding of how to find, process, arrange the most beautiful blooms. We are so pleased to be able to offer our couples an additional option to help make their weddings even more magical and convenient.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. I started my design business in Seattle 12 years ago and am now based in Bellingham, where I grow cut flowers and have access to amazing locally sourced blooms.
