“We booked Christine with Barefoot Royalty for our wedding after meeting her at a bridal expo in Statesboro, GA. The Queen of Hearts package was the one that best suited our needs, which included an engagement session as well. My husband and I decided that we would like to have our session at the river on his dad’s property and Christine was on board and filled with excitement from the start! Little did she know our session would involve a dog, canoe, boat, champagne, and a very awkward couple. With all of these props, obstacles, and survival taking pictures from a moving riverboat in the Ogeechee, Christine got us through our engagement session. We were instantly blown away after our pictures arrived within the timeframe given! Our wedding day quickly arrived and was exciting, fun, and busy right from the start. Christine had a photography schedule for us to follow and worked as hard as possible to keep all of us on track (which was a VERY challenging task in itself). After the ceremony, Christine recommended “golden hour” pictures while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. As much as I was excited to start visiting and celebrating with our guests, I am so happy she encouraged us to take the time because the pictures are PERFECT! The week of the wedding, we decided to book an extra hour with Christine to be able to capture more of our reception. Honestly, aside from booking Barefoot Royalty in the first place, this may have been our best decision yet! She and her second shooter stayed until 9 PM and captured so many fun reception pictures that we would not have had otherwise! Christine stayed in touch as the weeks passed while we waited for our full gallery to arrive… and boy were they worth the wait!!! Being able to relive our wedding day through the pictures has been so much fun. We are blown away by the talent she has, attention to detail, and how everything turned out. We would highly recommend Barefoot Royalty Photography for your engagement/wedding photos and would book with Christine every time if we had to do it over again!! “I was looking all over for a photographer and when I landed on her Insta, I fell in love with Jumara's editing style, so of course I contacted her asap a year in advance just to make sure she was available for my date!! Overall, Jumara went above and beyond to capture the beautiful moments of our special day. Her attention to detail must be noted! One of our bridesmaids forgot to take a hairband off her wrist, and Jumara noticed it immediately and pointed it out. When we were taking family photos, she also spent extra time repositioning every specific person so that the overall photo would look balanced. I honestly just expected her to snap the photos as is, but nope, she made sure to stage each and every person so that everyone's face could be seen (and there were a lot in our LARGE family)!! Speaking of our large family, Jumara had SO much patience and handled it like a champ. I felt like it was so chaotic, but she didn't even seem to break out a sweat! At one point, she decided it would look better if some individuals sat down for the photos, so she and her second shooter quickly and tirelessly grabbed chairs for them (I would have been physically exhausted if I had to do that lol). I really appreciated her very specific posing instructions, so I didn't have to think about where to place my hands, or whether to smile, etc. Jumara was great about communicating with us throughout the event to make sure we were okay with taking more photos in certain areas, etc. I was constantly worried we were running behind schedule, but she reassured us when we had extra time to take even more photos, even including some spontaneous ones with my family before the ceremony! I felt sorry about her having to deal with the groom and I's large families, from coordinating our formal family portraits with its MULTIPLE configurations, to PATIENTLY following us around during the reception as we greeted each table and took pics. And at the end of this stressful and eventful day, as we were saying goodbye, Jumara didn't even seem tired at all! Thank you Jumara, I am so glad I found you!! Also, shout out to her assistant photographer Kirsten Joci for working tirelessly as well throughout the event! At one point amid the chaos of taking family photos, she even ran and got us boba to make sure we stayed hydrated and energized! Thank you! After the wedding, 3 days later, we received a few photos as a sneak peek, and they look amazing! I can't wait to get the rest!! (eta 4-8 weeks)”

“Gabby was the best photographer we could have ever hoped for. We told her what we were looking for in terms of nature (i.e., mountains and desert) for our wedding, and she knew all the best spots. She recommended multiple places that provided stunning backdrops (e.g., Storm Mountain, Brighton, Donut Falls, Guardsman Pass, Antelope Island). She stayed with us the entire day (so many hours!) and did a second day after photo shoot to get some good desert pictures (Antelope Island). She was amazing with our friends and family, always very friendly and warm. I did a lot of research on photographers before choosing her, and her portfolio demonstrated exceptionally high quality work for a very reasonable price. They were so comfortable to be around and made the photos go so quickly and easily. “My husband and I cannot say enough good things about her and her work. We found Ally through my brother as he hired her for his wedding in Georgia. Even though our wedding would be in NJ, after seeing my brother's photos, my husband and I knew we needed to fly her up for our own wedding. Since Ally had never been to our venue before, she made sure to fly in a few days early and schedule a walk through of our venue. She had assured us that she does destination weddings frequently and would be able to adapt to any setting. She certainly kept that promise. By the day of the wedding, it was like Ally had been to our venue a million times. She knew all the best spots to take photos and transitioning from each of those spots was absolutely seamless. Another great thing about Ally is her demeanor. She is so kind, warm, and calm. Having a presence like that on your wedding day is priceless especially when you have a big family/wedding party. I cannot thank Ally enough for helping us pull together our family, friends, and loved ones so that we could take every photo we wanted to on the timeline we outlined. Not only is Ally extremely organized and professional but her work is amazing. Ally asked me to create a Pinterest board of photos I liked - on the day of the wedding, it was clear she had studied the gallery and knew the exact vibe I wanted. With or without the Pinterest board, she has her own great artistic eye and directed a lot of great shots. I expected to have a few photos I loved from my wedding day but Ally provided us with an endless number of photos we love. I have gotten multiple comments from friends/family on our photos and my cousin even wants to fly her up for when she gets married. We had some older relatives/grandparents at the wedding and it meant a lot to our parents that Ally was able to capture so many beautiful photos with them. On top of all of this, Ally is also extremely timely. Our wedding was on a Friday and by Sunday night we had our sneak peak which was 150-200 photos fully edited. She then provided our entire wedding gallery right on the timeline she initially stated. Not having to follow up or track her down for our photos was just the cherry on top of the entire experience. To summarize - I cannot recommend Ally enough whether that be for your wedding, engagement shoot, etc. Ally is responsive, kind, so talented, and helpful. Thank you Ally for capturing our special day!!”
