The Denver Athletic Club is a private membership owned club that was established in Denver in 1884. The DAC moved to it’s current location in 1892 and has expanded in the years since to now occupy the entire city block. The oldest remaining structure in Denver’s iconic Union Station neighborhood, historic Hose House No. 1 was one of the first fire stations in Denver. This fire station preceded paid City of Denver fire departments and began as a volunteer fire station in 1881. Now, it has been lovingly restored and re-imagined as an iconic, inclusive kitchen and bar. Located in the heart of the newly thriving Union Station neighborhood, Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar is an icon for its history and legacy. This neighborhood, formerly known as The Bottoms represents both Denver’s oldest and newest districts and Woodie Fisher serves as a metaphor for the City of Denver and the Bottom’s history.

The HIlton Garden Inn Denver Union Station was built in 2019 to provide a strongly needed unique and boutique hotel in Lower Downtown Denver. The adjacent Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar began it's life as Denver's 1st hose company, part of the fire department, in the late 1800's and now is the local spot for comfortable and sustainable food choices. The hotel side offers over 10,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space and the neighboring restaurant can host as many as 200 using all the indoor and outdoor space.
