The MCA Denver Café is an intimate space, well suited for small seated dinners and cocktail receptions. At 1,100 sq. ft., the Café’s warm, Brazilian Cherry wood interior provides a nearly 360-degree view of Denver's downtown skyline. Knoll Saarinen marble dining tables with white Bertoia side chairs provide luxury seating. Ceramic sculptures created by Kim Dickey inspired by the flora of June S. Gates Rooftop Garden complement this airy space. The wraparound rooftop deck hosts a south facing outdoor bar (weather permitting) along with Knoll tables and Bertoia chairs for additional outdoor seating. Galleries MCA Denver's current exhibitions are available for viewing to you and your guests during your rental.     Wedding Venue

    The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the beginning, the event staff was professional, fun, and eager to help us create a truly unique experience for our guests. The museum's eclectic and modern space provided ample room for our party to move around and mingle, with a low-key atmosphere that felt anything but stuffy. Everyone on the team was wonderful, engaged, and made sure our special day went off without a hitch. We loved having the entire museum to ourselves for the evening - it provided such a memorable and immersive experience for all of our loved ones. The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our wedding.

If the event is cancelled after the execution of the contract and more than 30 days prior to the event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the renter cancels 30 or fewer days prior to the event, the renter will pay and MCA Denver will retain the full rental fee, including the deposit.
All clients and outside vendors must supply a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to cover liability or damages while working in our spaces.

The MCA provides all bar and beverage services. There is a staffing fee for the bartenders. We can offer a cash bar for your guests or a hosted bar which is based on consumption and added to the final invoice along with a 20% gratuity. Event beverages are typically served in disposable glassware.
While your guests are more than welcome to enjoy the artwork in our galleries, in order to respect and protect the artwork, we do not allow the event to take place in the galleries. Food and drinks are also not allowed in the galleries. Drink drop tables and gallery attendants are available on each floor to assist.
Generally, rentals are available in the evenings after the museum closes to the public. Interested in something different? Just ask!
