Skyewater Photo + Film is a photography and videography team based in Washington and Colorado, specializing in adventure elopements and small weddings (75 guests or fewer), with a unique focus on locations and venues that feature the element of water. Our lead photographer Kaitlyn was born in Florida, but with years of experience living in the mountains, Kaitlyn is happiest wherever the water is. She currently lives on the road with her husband and pup Bruiser in their RV, as they search for their dream property in Washington state.

My name is Kelsie. A self-taught photographer, a loving wife and mother to two amazing little boys. The beautiful PNW is where we call home. I’ve had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. I started my business 5 years ago and have only continued to grow. Photographing couples and capturing the love that pours out between them means everything to me. Freezing time for just a moment to help you cherish that forever is why I do what I do.

I took up photography while in high school and really enjoyed being behind the lens and learning a new creative outlet. My first project was sister's graduation photos 5 years ago and realized how much I love capturing milestones in peoples' lives. After graduating, I decided to take my skills from school and pursue photography as a side business. And let me tell you, I LOVE being a business owner. I am a PNW native photographer from the Western Washington area. I currently live in the beautiful city of Tacoma, Washington and while that is where most of our clients currently reside, I also travel up and down the west coast capturing special moments. I got my degree from the University of Washington, Seattle and have been doing photography professionally for over 7 years now.
