Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. He helped us create a detailed plan that included songs we loved, songs we didn’t want played, and the exact timing for everything. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “Just to preface - I take wedding dance floors extremely seriously. I think it is make or break for the reception. My fiancé and I were trying to keep costs as low as we could and had our eyes on a few other DJ’s that were within our price range and had been good at other weddings until I stumbled on DJ One Chance. I knew from the second I saw his Instagram that I needed to have him at our wedding. His energy, charisma, and ability to read the room is incredible. He was a bit out of our original price range (which was very low to begin with, keep in mind) and I can absolutely tell you that he is worth every single penny. Every planning meeting we had with him got us more and more excited to have him with us on the day of. He listened to the vibe and energy we were going for and could not have done a better job. My parents were blown away that for a bit of a tight dance floor and 200 guests, the dance floor was PACKED from 8:30 - Midnight. Some quotes we received from friends were “I haven’t danced that much at a wedding in a long time” - Rick, 59 years old and “Your DJ was insane. He knew which songs were hits with the crowd and kept the energy going” - MK, 30. He was a hit with every age group and we are forever indebted him for creating the dance floor of our dreams. I have never seen so many people compliment a wedding DJ or a dance floor so passionately. DJ One Chance worked with us seamlessly to make sure we were able to have the best day ever. He even let us request one more last song after the “last song” that we picked ourselves didn’t hit as hard as we wanted. He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like.
