The Depot Event Space is situated in the historic heart of Gainesville, at Depot Park. The building was placed on the US National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The Depot began in August of 2016, and has rapidly grown into a desirable destination for weddings, reunions, birthday parties and more.

“The Depot Event Space hosted our wedding and they did a magnificent job. The location was beautiful, the staff were attentive and quick to respond, and the price was among the best in Gainesville. The associated food vendor was also fantastic - every single one of our guests complimented the food as being very good! The Barn at Deep Creek is a converted cattle barn set in a picturesque backdrop. The Barn has both indoor and covered outdoor spaces, a designated cocktail table area with a deck, and ample grass areas. There are multiple options for ceremony locations. We have Bride and Grooms suites for wedding party preparations. The property of the barn is a combination of cypress ponds, pine forest, pastures, and a canopied creek. The property is very private and secluded. We are only 15 minutes from downtown Gainesville, but it feels a world away.

“I cannot say enough good things about The Barn at Deep Creek. Truly the perfect place to get married. From the seamless booking process, to the end of the night, Kristen made sure we were taken care of the entire way. Definitely a brides dream location as they have so many decorations available to work with (cutting down on your decorating budget), large places for bride & groom to get ready, perfectly lit reception space, and so many photo opportunities. There was a large reception space capable of hosting all your guests with ease with plenty of space for a beautiful dance floor. My vendors easily set up for the night and didn’t make the space feel cramped. I loved the lighting that changed for the reception, added so much to the atmosphere . You will not be disappointed with this venue!”
