The Ultimate Groomsmen Hangout
The Venue 1902 Library is Venue 1902's newest space designed as a retreat for the groom and his guys. With TVs, a poker table, and billiards, this space has it all. It even doubles as an amazing photo backdrop for moody portraits of the newlyweds or wedding party shots! The Library is included in the 1902 Package but can be added as an amenity to any of our other packages.

Top Choice Venue
Historic Venue 1902 is truly breathtaking—one of those places that feels special the moment you arrive. We dreamed of a springtime outdoor ceremony, and our biggest concern was always the “what if it rains?” question. What set this venue apart was the peace of mind they offered: a well-thought-out rain backup plan and the flexibility to make a weather call close to the day, so we never felt like we were gambling with our wedding. Plus, they offered the ability to incorporate our dogs into our ceremony, which was so critical to us! While this is definitely a higher-end venue, the experience and relationships they bring to the table made it worth it for us. Having access to their planning team—and their deep knowledge of trusted local vendors—was invaluable. They also hosted multiple vendor fairs during our planning window, which helped us so much because we could meet vendors, see options in person, and feel confident about the choices we were making. My only suggestion is to share a little more upfront about potential add-on costs that can come up along the way. We had a few items we assumed were included—like certain décor setup details and the front school sign customization—and those unexpected expenses were a surprise. Even so, we were already in love with the vision we’d created and didn’t want to skip the meaningful details that made the day feel like “us.” It wouldn’t have changed our decision to book Historic Venue 1902, but clearer expectations would have made the planning journey even smoother. Overall, we’re incredibly grateful for this venue and the team behind it—and we’ll always look back on our day there with so much joy.

Historic Venue 1902 was exactly what we were looking for to host our wedding. From the start, the staff had a "get the job done" communication style that was refreshingly direct and efficient. The venue itself was comfortable and pretty, making great use of the space so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The team was right there every moment, ensuring our special day went off without a hitch. We couldn't have asked for a better experience - the venue was beautiful, the service was top-notch, and we felt taken care of from start to finish.
