About this venue
Are you envisioning a fairy tale wedding set against a picturesque backdrop? Look no further than the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. Serenely floating over beautiful Lake Dora, this tropical-inspired waterfront oasis is furnished with natural fibers, lovingly restored antiques, and original artwork. Tavares Pavilion consists of an 8,000-square-foot two-story event center. Both floors offer indoor ballrooms that offer floor-to-ceiling windows for a covered ceremony or reception for up to 190 guests. The Ballrooms offer elegant espresso Chiavari chairs, aircraft aluminum tables, and handcrafted artistry. Our carved, two-tier, winding wood staircase with a back glass wall overlooking the lake is a beautiful space to say your “I Do’s”. In addition, the venue has a 150-foot brick-paved pier that can be used for a stunning outdoor ceremony or a reception under the stars. Your wedding day should be nothing short of magical, and Tavares Pavilion on the Lake promises just that.

Grand Ballroom
Two ballrooms offer flexible seating for any occasion. Every rental includes our elegant espresso-colored Chiavari chairs and an array of banquet, high-top, and round aircraft-aluminum tables that offer handcrafted artistry while providing a sophisticated and linen-less presentation. In the first floor ballroom, a luxury island retreat vibe can be imagines through textures and natural fibers found in the woven bac-bac matting installed in the mahogany-stained wood coffered ceilings.

Bridal Suite, Conference & Ready Room
Bridal Suite, Ready Room and Conference Room
The Bridal Suite, located on the upper level, is furnished with comfortable seating, a vanity, and a private restroom. It is the perfect spot to apply those finishing touches. The Ready Room, located on the lower level, is a quiet gathering space with lounge chairs, a private deck, and stunning views of the lake and waterfront. The Conference Room which can also serve as a Ready Room, is located on the lower level, as well. For a nominal fee, a pool table is available to rental.

Gorgeous venue
I loved having my wedding at this venue. Their whole team is fantastic. I mostly worked with Lee, and he helped us so much! Since we have a 145 guest count we had to do a ballroom change over but the DJ wanted be in same place from ceremony to reception, he helped us arrange the room to hid the large DJ set up the best we could for the ceremony! The venue is gorgeous, everyone could not stop talking about how pretty it was. We chose River City from their catering options and had a great experience. The day of when I arrived to the venue they had a cart ready to carry anything we needed and an umbrella to keep me shaded as I walked up. They really do care about customer experience. They were also super transparent about pricing, which is very rare in the wedding industry sadly. I could not recommend this venue enough!

Regruit Wedding- AMAZING VENUE AND STAFF!
Words cannot describe how perfectly splendid our wedding was at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake!! Jason and I were so impressed with everyone on staff. Amy is truly so wonderful to work with. She helped so much from setting up our initial tour to all the details for our wedding day. She was so responsive and unbelievable!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, Daniel, Lee, and Carrie, we appreciated everyone who was involved in our special day. The venue is absolutely beautiful!! It’s was the perfect place to get married, right on the lake. The views are breathtaking. Even though it downpour right before our ceremony, we still had amazing views! Our guests could not believe how beautiful and unique the venue was for our wedding. We highly recommend Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, especially their staff!!

From our first conversation with the team at Tavares Pavilion On The Lake, we knew we had found the right venue. They responded to every question quickly and professionally, while still feeling warm and approachable throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day, the staff was attentive and genuinely happy to be there, which made such a difference in how the day felt. When we needed to make last-minute changes, they handled everything without hesitation, and when a medical emergency came up with one of our guests, the team stepped in to help without us even having to ask.
